Last weekend was dedicated exclusively to pvp in which Darkenbane showed the server who was top dog. On Saturday, we won the horde side pvp 1 vs 1 tournament taking 4 out of the 5 top spots ( Daefuin, Once, Saradin, Spiteful ). Congrats to Daefuin in his victory ( 2-1 ) over Once in the finals. Check back here for the video clips soon as I just haven't had a chance to upload them. Thanks to Shred, Sabotai, and crew for hosting a very smooth and well organized tournament.
After branding the horde side tourney contestants with "owned by DB" on their ass, we decided to ride our victory into Sunday and let the alliance have some. As a result, Blackrock Mountain was blocked off for a period of around 2 hours to all alliance. While some slipped through the cracks, namely paladin's divine shielding and jumping into the lava, most took dirtnaps and then spirit rezzes as all Darkenbane members were told to not let anyone get their corpse. After what I would call uncontested territory, we moved the fight to southshore to see if we could get more action. What ended up happening there was their town getting camped, their griffawn master killed, the inn taken, and us eventually waltzing out when we felt like it. Here are just a couple pictures.

To be honest, pvp in this game right now is pretty stale without battlegrounds and real incentives to kill. I'd also like a pvp ranking system or a place to point at our #1 spot pvp so that not only do we know it, but everyone knows it. One thing is for sure right now, there isn't a single guild on the opposing faction on Archimonde that can hold a candle to us. You think that is a bold statement? I invite you to prove me wrong and call us out somewhere. Any attempt to schedule fight nights or pvp tournies haven't turned out as well as we had hoped and alliance either is scared of us or aren't leaving the safety of their instances to tangle.
Other than that, DKP is in effect tonight as we continue to gear and key our people from the current top game instances in prepartion for the "soon" promised battlegrounds.
