Take a look at this 64mb video of DIE getting completely owned.

This is the same thing that Darkenbane did to the Alliance not to long ago at BRM, but it looks like BL did it to DIE on Illidan.

I have to say that is the best video I have seen of WoW PvP thus far. I wish one of us had the neccessary frame rate to record movies like this. Im afraid most of us would just freeze up on screen if we attempted it??

On another note, AoE is definately the king of PvP during large scale confrontations. That was amazing how much damage was being dealt by those few mages. With a few priests for heals and AoE fear combined with several mages laying down Flamestrike, blastwave, arcane explosion, blizzard, cone of cold and frost nova, I dont see how any class could live through that for long! Throw in a couple Warlocks for hellfire etc and it would be a bloodfest quick.

I honestly do not know what DIE must've been smoking to have even contemplated coming to Archimonde. Their decision to move to Illidan was definitely the wiser choice for if they are getting wtf pwnd on Illidan they'd never see the light of day on Archimode.

They need to tone down AoE's in this game seriously. No reason one class should deal 5000% more damage then another class during large raids. Single target classes are worthless in such situations. Being able to hit 20+ targets at once like that is lame. AoE should have a max of like 4 or 5 targets.

Thats why mages can die in 3 hits to a well geared warrior. You can't let a mage survive for that long and expect to win a huge fight like that. Thats a good video, wish I could get FPS like that, even without running fraps.

I agree to a point, but never do I see mages doing well 1v1 till level 55+ once their arcane/fire talent builds are complete.

Mages and Warlock are, without a doubt, the least understood.
They are not underpowered, but when played by people who are not skilled nor understand how to adapt from situation to situation, then they get their asses kicked.

If you give an idiot a character class that is basically a glass cannon, you invite poor perseption of the class from those who are not able to play well.

Me and Valeal are having some hot 1 on 1 gnome/troll lovin on Stormreaver with the rest of the Zekkies.

DIE wasn't for me - not to mention they rolled on a no-name, no-competition server which would have made me leave anyway. From my experiences all I can say is a guild moving into a game consisting of members you have known and played with for years and still kicking ass is what makes a guild successfull. Spam inviting 60's to make WoWrankings and bragging about the most worthless statistic ever isn't. I was Once Blind so to speak ;)

I cannot fathom why anyone would want to be the king's of a latrine or a big frog in the little pond. Sad thing is DIE is not even the big frog in that little watering hole, nor do they rule their shit-hole outhouse that they occupy
