K, sorry bout this but im bout to make my charecter along wit my friend..and we need a few GOOD suggestions for good combos. We are going to be ple'd a little, and hardly twinked at all. suggestions appreciated.

Are you looking for pvp or just to kill people? If you're looking simply to kill people, I've never seen a more enduring and good team than enc/wiz. They're perfect for each other. If you're looking for fun pvp, go dual bards or a bard and a warrior, that's always a blast.

Enc/wiz team for pvp rocks, my friend and I are twinking up ours atm =)

If you're going for pve, shaman/monk or warrior/cleric would probably be best. But I doubt you're going for pve.

So what? they can outnuke a drood and doing dmg is what counts in pvp.

Yea, that's all that matters if a druid and wiz stood toe to toe and traded DD's. Most people know better than that. DD strength isn't worth much if the druid can just run out of range and heal while a dot chews into the wiz.

i consider myself an expert on druid pvp and i'm bored so i'll lay it out for you.

druid vs wiz: if the wiz isn't level 60 then the druid should win 9 times out of 10. at level 60, the druid still should win but more like 7-8 out of 10 assuming the druid is wearing resist gear well over 100. also, if a druid wastes a pumice/wand on the wiz and gets rid of his epic skin/buffs he will win 9 times out of 10 even if the wiz is level 60. again, this is assuming druid is well equipped (fire/cold over 100 and at least 2k hp unbuffed which isn't hard to acheive, i'd bet most 60 druids can get closer to 2500 or even 3k hp)

wiz simply can't damage a druid fast enough if they have high resists and have to rely on lucky rolls where ice spear does 700 damage through 150 cr, whereas druids can drop ro's/WD on a wiz and beat them down even if they have resist gear on. wizards have a great deal less hp than a druid and with that 1k hp heal at 60 its really hard to kill a druid. at lower levels i couldn't say who would win, i'd have to go back and look at how lower level druid nukes compare to wizards, but if i had to choose i'd say druids are superior across the board.

do 60 wizards still force me to gate? yup, but my gear is ghetto and i'm proud of it :~)

Druid/Necro is also a nice Tag Team PvE and PvP wise. Both have great dots and pet is nice for interrupts.

You know one I wanted to experiment with at the high levels?

Shaman / necro. It's kinda sucky, seeings neither of them can port.

But necro's have that new disease based snare, and with Insidious Decay, that would almost act like a tashan for the necro's Retro.

Plus you have 2 pets that the shaman can MR buff and stuff.

Wiz might be better for just jacking up one guy that's only trying to get away, but the druid causes you to not lose any fights really~ Can take on bigger groups that way. And I don't know about how MR is now, but Encs are always good.

Yah... soo fuck all those who want to duel a wizard with their even lvl 53 druid or higher.... why do druids think they have balls when offering that? (*cough* Rahne) It can't even be called a fucking duel.... i Bet you 300000 dollars, that all the druid would do would either be to take a nuke (*shiver*) while getting WD off on the wizard... and then stand there and watch to see if the wizard starts to dispell and if he does... nuke nuke nuke... or if he starts to nuke again...(seeing that WD does full dmg in like 45 seconds or so you don't have much time which is bullshit again) the druid just has to friggin run and run and run and run and heal and heal... the same bullshit... they can do it all day... and u have WD doing dmg enough to kill the wizard as it is... Basically stack WD .. run run run... heal heal.. run around and sneak nukes in while the wizard is trying to dispell... heal heal heal... Spirit of Cheetah away.... run... heal... (*sigh .. gets old doesnt it*) Funny thing is.. this is the typical bullshit that a druid pulls... they get low health.. run run run and heal... sucks that a wizard can't floor it away and heal... So don't think your a badass if you think beating a wizard or some other low hp pure caster class in a duel because its a fucking joke in the first place...
I bet a 53 druid could beat a lvl 57-58 wizard in a duel also... u CANNOT friggin resist WD... so it doesnt matter.. and the wizard at that lvl is only gonna have 1200-1300 hps rofl.... WD will still own him.. and even if he gets decent nukes off on the druid... the druid can just run away and heal (SoC if neccesary no doubt)
