got a question

I just installed a new HD and everythign works fine, it's just there's one thing annoying me. Windows asks me once or twice a day if I want to "activate windows now". So I click on the little icon and the window comes up and it says windows is already activated... Im quite sure i never typed in the number that I need to type in(it let me on my old HD). Weird thing is it keeps popping the fuck up. So now it says 28 days left to register.

When you register again and your system specs have changed slightly (ie another stick of ram, etc), I think you have to talk to microsoft.

At least that's what I did when I formatted last time.
