DVD burning

/sigh i keep having stupid problems :/

But nero burningrom dosnt support .*avi format. The thing is need to burn a cd with a movie so i can play em on a DVD player? anyone know where i can download some free software where i can burn in .*avi etc so they can be watched on a DVD player.

I didn't think you could burn CD's to play on DVD players.

I might be wrong, but I would think it's a different format ( reading sensors, disc size, etc ).

If you get it to work, by all means, tell me how ;)

You will have to burn a VCD and have a DVD player that supports the VCD format AND can play burned VCD disks. The problem i have is that i cant run ANY homemade CD's which totally sucks in some cases. Other then that my player is cool =).

Anyone know any software that can burn *.avi *.VCD etc?
