It says at on my screen "You may NOT post attachments" under Forum Rules.......

You cannot upload attachments for posts, only for avatars if i remember correctly. If you want to post screenshots you will have to post a link... Read the FAQ if you want to know how.

When someone posts a thread and the screenshot pops up when you open the thread, how do they do that? They're not posting a link are they?

Yes they are but they enclose the link in one of the img tags...
When you enter a post there is a button that says IMG.

You to have the picture hosted on somebodies website. I will host a pic or two for you, just send it to me at work or something.

Then use the image button above or read the faq for the format it has to be in.
