Darkenbane on Rallos Zek

I have seriously been thinking about starting DB on RZ. I want to think it over more before I just start up DB. I don't want to think EQ sucks and I end up quitting in a month and waiste a lot of peoples time. The problems that I face are:

1. Leveling another character from scratch.

2. Spending the time it takes to level another character.

3. Will EQ be dead come 2003? (Most likely)

4. Am I waisting mine and others time by starting DB on RZ when EQ will most likely be dead come 2003.


If I were to start DB on Rallos Zek these would be some of the rules:

1. Me (Leader)
2. Danubi (2nd in command Officer)
3. I would possibly officer a few veterans upon them joining.
4. I am still not sure on level limit.
5. Would we do PVE raids? Still unsure, probably if we expand and have the proper class balance. DB seems to mostly consist of casters.
6. Guildname would be Darkenbane Company, no way in hell I am wearing a Dorkenbane tag.

Well after reviewing my emails and the replies to posts about returning Darkenbane on RZ, I am going to do this. I have received many emails and talked to many people that are interested. We should have a strong enough force to be a productive pking guild and maybe down the road some pve. I just need to call Gray and get us our own private RZ DB board, along with some access to other things such as the website.

So, if all goes well, the DB on RZ is just a few days away.

Actually, I've played EQ (with characters other than Scurry) since about October 1999. I'm well aware that there are many who have played longer, but, if that causes me to be wearing diapers, then please pass the wipes.

I've been giving it some serious thought as of late. But I don't know how much time I actually have to get back into EQ. Between excercising on a daily basis and playing MoH: Allied Assault.....I dunno bro, I will try to log on and see what's going on. i'd love nothing more than to start DB back up and re-visit it's original roots. But with all this garbage No Drop gear at high lvls and shit people have now from DB leaving the server and not disrupting anything for a good half a year, it seems kind of pointless. Konstance is lvl 53, and I don't know if it would even be worth pvping at that level, with all these new gay ass luclin spells and stupid shit verant has done to the PvP servers.

That's probably one of the zones I have least frequented in the whole game. That zone sucks balls.
