Just out of curiousity how many Absinthe drinkers out here. I am an absinthe drinker of 10 years,and still enjoy it to this day.

I like it way better than weed and drinking anyday.

Just curious on how many drink it or how many tried.

It's the greatest stuff in the world IMHO,and I will continue drinking it till the day I die.

staying away from the drama. Hey Tare, yes I have had absinthe plenty of times. When I can I order a bottle online considering the only real absinthe is from Europe. There is also a club my friend owns in NYC that has real absinthe there on special nights, so we dabble in that there as well. I had a ton of it in Barcelona. Otherwise it is just a specialty drink for me, I never hallucinated, or anything. The feeling I get from absinthe is a sever drunken state without the spinning vision or any feel of nausia. I am not a huge fan of the taste though. I honestly prefer a 40 dollar double shot of Johnny Walker Blue then a glass of absinthe, but thats cause I love scotch.

heh Yeah the taste is like eating a box of good and plentys,but I got used to it over the years. My friends say it taste like mouth wash to them but I think it taste like licorice,and I love licorice heh

Yes i agree the best is from online Europe,thats how i get mine also,usually me and my friends all pitch in for a bottle.

I used to drink it a lot a few years back, but I havn't had it for about a year. It's excellent though. Relatively pleasant taste considering the high % of alcohol, and if you put some water in the bottom of the shotglass, and a little sugar on top, it tastes way better than stuff with half its alcohol in it.

Tare the reason you havent gotten any hallucinations is that they removed the cause of it. It's a herb which I sadly don't know the english translation. Today it's just regular alcohol, and that's why it's legal in most european countries. I prefer a brand called Hapsburg.

We used to warm up in a bar that served absinthe at roughly 2 dollars a glass. I don't ever think I've gotten drunk so cheap before =).
