file checksum

Well after file checksum error no response on fix and then a reinstallation of game i sit and wait from my newly reinstalled game to download from 1.2 release to 1.84 252 megs and ummm ya 8 hours later gotta love it. Anyone else get patch problems weeks leading up to big release of new material?

This is making me nervous as I didn't have a chance to even dl the patch yesterday. Sounds like a fun night ahead of me.. yay....

I had a similar problem with patching, if you are referring to the downloader freezing. Mine would lock up at 12.5 megs or so. If you are behind a router you need to forward ports or just connect your computer directly to the cable modem during the download and disable all norton and other internet protection software, or enable the downloader exe within that software

I just DLed mine from Fileplanet. I think I was DLing the patch at 2.2kb, so I said screw it, fileplanet is much faster.

ya I could download the patch alright was just a matter of applying it to game that wouldn't let me continue so had to reinstall and start over
