but for the most part i can say that the pvp they did was good.
except for what skal and guz did.
they rushed my grouped and ran away witin 10 seconds.

Only the stupid players think wizard is a "powerful" pvp class. It's not. It's a class that catches people offguards and tries to kill them quick, if a fight goes for any length of time, that simply means the wizard has already lost.

Shaman is one of the three most powerful 1 on 1 class in game, period. Wiz is not.

I don't recall you ever asking me for a duel on Selanir in the Bazaar. You talk big but like I said your an overpowered class that would own a wiz head on. Also I agree with Lilsub. Since the new patch wizards are fucked even more. Sure we are the best ganking class when someone isnt expecting us. But head on we are no match to the hardcore mad hps class. I look at it this way. A wizard in PVE stays all the way in the back. Same in PVP. Once our skin is broken or pumiced or once our shielding is stripped or debuffed in anyway =dead wizzy. When I pk with my Wodes I make sure I stay away from a melee,and nuke from the back. But once that melees get on me I am one dead mother fucker. We own to an extent. I went to Velks alone today and went to drop some melee. First IC got him hurt bad,than before I cast the draught. He runs behind a wall,and that mana was totally wasted. Its bullshit now because melees can tear us up in a dungeon. Well after that warrior runs. A ranger comes at me. So I gate the fuck out of there.
If this patch didnt take place,that warrior would of been so dead in one ic and a draught or two. Dungeons was the best place for a wizard to own people,and get phat lewtz. Now if we are lucky to get them in the open,they run like pussies,and we cant cast while were running obviously.

But when we get attacked head on by a more powerful class as a shammy with his pet. Its fucked up. First of all the pet is MR proof. So isnt going to be rooted. Golem rods are needed 24/7 on these classes. THeir sow needs to be gone,and their pets debuffed. But also this line of sight patch doesnt help much. WE are fucked in dungeons. So what good are our crits,lures,and good dds when someone just runs on the other side of an object or wall ? Plus we lose mana making the attempt

Well my first post got erased somehow so I'm going to sum this up in a few short points.

The only way Nexex can imagine anyone getting gear in a "blue" environment is sucking dick, as he so intelligently puts it. Says a lot about Nexex to me.

If a player has only experienced pk'ing, and never has done any of the "blue" stye, such as raiding, they're not a complete player. Raiding teaches a person how to play the game, just as pvp does. How the hell do you think that blue servers whipped AD's butt in the BotB? Was it just gear? I think not, they had an advantage, but if pvp was everything, they wouldn't have won.

I can guarantee that when Guznuk comes back from Legends, he'll be a better player than when he left.

As a final note on this subject, if Guznuk is on legends, and enjoying himself, and you're on rallos and grumbling constantly about not having fun, who's the idiot?

In my little run back on rallos I saw him pvp quite a bit and save my sorry ass quite a bit in pvp situations. And as for one on one, shaman vs wiz, I witnissed a duel between Guznuk and a very skilled Wizard in BB mountains once. Guznuk outstrategized the wizard and played a near perfect duel, beating the wizard quite handily without the use of a pet I believe...this was before all this line of sight BULLSHIT too...thus proving the point that a decent geared shaman vs a decent geared wiz will probably win almost every single time because of the class "balance"....

Well lil, if you only saw the history of this ranting from that point, I can understand where you get your point of view from. However, that's not where it started. I was VERY content and satisfied with living a Guznuk free life.
