Haven't played Dungeons and Dragons in ages and this looked like a pretty cool game. Anyone try it out?

No I heard it fucking sucked tho..I think gheck-ho tried it out..but then again he prolly didn't get to play..oh and gheck-ho gemme swisters b4 next week plz, Buy like 10 dollas worth I pay u back in full.
I play it, I think it rocks. I haven't tried it with any random bozos on the net yet though, only with RL friends and their friends, so I can't say what it would be like to play with a bunch of Counterstrike-reject cheaters though =P
If you're talking about PvP aspects...it isn't too good. The arena module (you have to download it) is fun for a while but gets boring fast.
The campaign is fun but slow-paced. The storyline is awesome, too. I'm only on chapter 2 and I'm loving it. I play it with my brother and one of his friends and we're kicking ass. I'm mostly looking forward to playing player/dev-made modules though, and its still too early for any of those.
My only beef with it is, the henchman system is buggy. Thief henchmen will run through 30 enemies to try to disarm a trap, and end up training you. And sometimes you'll try to open a locked box, and they'll say they "I'll pick the lock for you!" but they just stand there like a moron. And in multiplayer there's a bug right now that occasionally happens that makes henchmen not leave the game when their master does (due to LD or just quitting), and when the master logs back in the henchman will procede to whoop them up (thanks to this bug I've had to revert to old saves really often). And they get stuck on doors a lot, which is a pain... Otherwise the henchman system kicks ass; I'm really impressed with the options you have when controlling them (telling them how close to stay to you, how often to heal, etc).
Anyways, if you're looking for a badass PvP game NWN isn't it. But otherwise it's worth a shot.
