Vanguard PvP?

I admit I havent looked at Vanguard in depth to much but it seems like they are taking the EQ theory of "design the game for pve then throw pvp in later". While Darkfall looks to be based around PvP first and PvE secondary. Correct me if I'm wrong.

As long as they're willing to look into true alternate rulesets for PvP servers, I'll remain hopeful.
