I'll be playing is Vanguard when it comes out this winter. It's come a long way since beta and I'm really looking forward to their pvp servers. Vanguard won the Best of Show at this site but I guess only time will really tell. My thoughts are still between Vanguard and Darkfall, gonna pick up both most likely.

I'll prolly play both but I just don't think Vanguard is gonna come through for the win as far as PvP is concerned. Hopefully i'm wrong.

I think vanguard will be fine until darkfall if thats the order in which they come out, since EQ1 pvp was a blast for a year or 2 be4 the uber shit came out

I think the Vanguard pvp servers will be a lot like EQ1 pvp rule sets. Darkfall seems like Asheron's call to me. Go look at the videos again.. is it me or do all the races look the same to you? I just hope that Darkfall has a good amount of chr customizing because if everyone looks the same thats kinda lame. Ya I'll try both and make my call then. Does anyone know the release dates of both games? Vanguard is winter 2006 and Darkfall ??

Darkfall is vaporware no matter what anyone tells you. Its shadowbane pre-beta 2.0

I'm thinking about getting the Nintemdo Wii and a Xbox 360. The Wii seems like it would be a fun party system. Invite people over, have a few brews and swing a controller around, sound kind of fun to me. At some point this month I'll be building a new comp also. Any suggestions on a really good mother board Meter? I'm thinking about a duel processor board. Only problem will be buying to high-end chips will be costly. I'm going to need someone to send me a burned copy of windows also. I only have a upgrade version of Windows XP... Need a full version.

The Wii is built for, and will appeal to, two crowds: Families and Drunk guys. I'm in complete agreement with you about it being a sweet system for parties. Pickup Wario Ware: Smooth Moves and laugh your ass off.
Unless you're dying to play Gears of War or Lost planet, hold off on the 360. There's a price drop going down sometime between now and next summer. No one's sure if it's going to be right before the PS3's launch or before Halo3/GTA4 come out. The same can be said for a PS3. Sony's going to drop the price before the system hits the one-year mark, but there's currently no must-have launch title (Games like Heavenly Sword slipped launch quietly after E3).
I've built three systems with this mobo with great performance for price:

This is a current favorite among the guys I build systems with:

(If you buy this one from Newegg, update the bios they're using an older version)
Both those support AMD's Athlon64x2 (dual core). Price vs Performance vs Power the Athlon64x2 is the better buy over the Pentium D. If you're buying this year, wait until at least mid-July. Intel's releasing the Core2 Duo (formerly the Conroe) which based on synthetic benchmarks is an amazing buy (given the Core Duo processor's performance in laptops and Macs, Intel's on the right track). Worst case scenario, AMD will drop prices to make the 64x2 or even the FX x2 more affordable.
