I play 3rd strike like i played the previous SF'rs, so I beat everyone but the people that are good at 3rd strike specifically. I never got around to learning the ins and outs of that system.

Anything pre-3rd strike though and you guys might as well not show up.

yah 3S is alot different, natural skill only takes you so far, you need to learn the crazy combos that eachchar has. That is my game tho, i challenge anyone for it :)

Tried playing this weekend Dempig, its terrible. The lag makes it unplayable to any competitive degree which is sad cause they could have made sooo much money off it. Hell if it was perfect I would have bought a 360 this weekend.

I'll catch ya online and play sometime, but we'll have to wait for a lagless version of SF before we do anything competitive. So disappointed in Capcom.

What are you talking about? Must be something with your connection , because in the almost 200 matches ive played , ive only seen lag in like 3 matches.

Every move has a .5 second delay at my friends house (broadband cable). Like you hit jump and half a second later it jumps. So... dunno. Lucky you cause a lot of people are complaining about the lag.

My only problem is with the shitty dpad , and im not gonna buy an arcade stick unless they put cvs2/sf3:3s on 360.

Oh , and the fact that 90% of the people playing on bnet suck complete ass.

90% of the people i play do one of these things , and only that the entire match.

1. Jumping High Kick , Crouching High Kick
2. Spam nothing but projectiles the whole match
3. Spam e hondas hundred slaps
4. Suck complete ass with Ryu/Ken.


No matter how many times i counter them and own the shit out of them , they stick to the same stretegy all match. Its fuckign boring.

Yeah, when you're lagged you're pretty much limited to the basic crap, at least with a non charge character. Fireballs and Shoryukens are completely out. Pisses me off cause I was really excited about online street fighter being awesome finally.

And yes, those were the people I went up against as well. Not a single neck kick -> fierce -> shoryuken combo yet everyone picked ryu/ken. So dumb. I got so angry playing cause i'd lose to terrible people cause of lag. Meh.

That sucks about the lag. SF:3s...no lag, if anything its like .1 sec with a cable modem. Come to that game and I'll show you crazy combos and mindgames. I also have one of these http://www.xgaming.com/two-player.shtml which is amazing. If they ever fix the lag, i swear i might just have to get a 360, I've been thinking about it for awhile now.
