I've always liked Tallon myself. One of the more laid-back, down to earth players of EQ.
If I still played like I used to, I'd consider joining his guild for the mere challenge of what he hopes to accomplish.
Why? I've played the PvE game, and frankly after the first one or two times through it gets to be a drag. Trakanon? Dain Frostreaver? King Tormax? Yelniak? Vulak Ae'rr? Been there, done that. I just believe the sense of accomplishment doing major events as a PK would be greater than eventing as a bluebie by a few orders of magnitude.
Some classic quotes:
"No pkers will ever be able to do the planes"
Darkenbane shattered that statement.
"No pkers will ever get their epic"
Lucid Vision?
Now I'm hearing "No pkers will ever do ToV"
Hasen't happened yet, but it's by no means impossible.
Good luck, RoP

"No pkers will ever do ToV"
That's only because pkers don't know *how* to do tov. ToV is like the easiest zone in the whole game to secure from pvp and raid on a server with no trains allowed (hell wouldn't be hard with trains either)
Get 12 or more level 60s ally to CoV and there's not a damn thing anyone can do about you raiding ToV~ But I know the pk guilds can field a lot more then 12 people, it's amazing tov isnt done yet :p

Tell me a pk guild that has over 12 lvl 60's right now...people dont do tov pk because most lvl 60 pkers made newbie chars cuz they got bored or are solo lvl 60 pkers.

Lucid Vision has around ten 60's though I'm not 100% sure on that (the roster on the site needs updating) plus some other non guilded pk buddies. We've never really considered factioning for cov as a guild and heading in there... doesn't appeal to us that much when all of AD will zone in on us if we provoke em in say... sro anyway.

House In'Visus was first RZ pk guild to have a member go epic, not LV. Sorry.

Guznuk and Rahne both went epic while guilded HiV.
Rahne didn't buy hers, Guznuk did, but I can't say that I wouldn't buy my epic if I had the money.

I bought an MQ of the "Iksar Tear" from Fear. I wasn't presented with the luxury of Rahne's friends killing Fay for him, none of whom were in HIV ;)

You used your friends to help you I'm sure, what's wrong with him using his?
Like I said, and I wasn't insulting you. If I could afford to buy my epic, I can't say I wouldn't do it.

... Rather than slam you for being a habitual moron I'm going to educate you.
Begin by clicking here (http://www.dictionary.com/search?q=quote) and, once you've grasped the meaning of the word, it might dawn upon your amazingly limited self that I was quoting Pica/Tallon.

I think is the coolest, and one of the laid back kats also IMO. He just keeps it real, and alot dont like that, but hes just being himself. Illusive is also my boy heh Tallon does have alot of talent, and believe me he knows his shit. REign of Pain is getting alot of pimp classes, and they are accomplishing alot atm. Alauniira {my other wiz twink} is in ROP,and proud to serve it.
Give Tallon/Pica props he deserves them for what hes going to make happen. Much props to Pica !

Well, if your gonna take a stab (yes I know you felt it was defending yourself)
The whole idea of epics is a grand accomplishment, the quest of quests. Something of a status mark of achievement, specially as a pk'er. The whole concept of questing for your epic is for you to do it yourself and with your friends. did i Have friends who helped? Hell yeah, I couldn't have done it without them, and for that I am eternally grateful. I have friends that would risk a helluva lot to help me, and that says something....
BUt like I said to you in the past, and you know my feelings, If I coulda paid someone to do it, and that was my only avenue, I woulda done that in a heartbeat.

Oh I know... I was more trying to clarify when everyone says "Guznuk bought his epic" that meaning I bought the Iksar Tear MQ (one no drop item from fear?).
Heh believe me, if I didn't have to pay for an MQ I wouldn't :-p

Most shamans end up buying the Tear. Be they PK or not. Its something of a bottleneck, and 10k generally is preferable to sitting in Fear for a week hoping to get it to drop. We have another Shaman who also needs the Tear, and personally id rather buy it for him then have to clear Fear again for the billioneth time. Shaman is the easiest epic to complete regardless.
As for ToV - Its not a manpower or "Knowledge" issue. We easily have the manpower to handle it, along with the knowledge.(Lucid Vision can field 12 lvl 60's fine. Not to mention other people close to 60) I guess we simply lack the desire to bother. We still have some epics i wish to complete first(Zureus's Shadowknight epic, 2 more Wizard ones, 1 more Druid, couple others im forgetting) and a couple other PvE things we just havent had the time to do yet. When we run out of "Productive" raid ideas, ill look towards ToV. The endless factioning and just the time consuming nature of a raid of that type simply is not appealing to me or most of Lucid Vision. PvE is boring when not spread out properly.

Heh you're dumb, AD is an uber guild. They are not on CoV faction save some stragglers building it up now and then for certain hand-ins. 2 CoV faction lvl 60s >>>>>>>>>>> 30 kos lvl 60s in ToV. As I said, easiest zone in game to hold pvp wise~
