Start listing some good comedians. I think this is my new favorite way to grind/level. I've been listening to alot of Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle. Give me some more comedians stuff to download.
thx

Jeremy Hotz
Lewis Black
Pablo Francisco
Dane Cook
I'd definately check out those. Lewis Black is probably on the more sophisticated while Dane Cook is just retarded (but in a good way). Its all solid though.

Mitch Hedberg is awesome if you like the surreal, out there comedy. Dane Cooks album "Retaliation" is easily a good laugh for anyone, very well written. Pablo Francisco has had one good show ever, luckily, that one good show is legendary. All three have really good shows.
Other comedians I'd recommend:
Eddie Izzard. King of comedy, hands down. If you ask professional comedians who they would like to be, a good portion of those will answer Izzard. He is the professional choice.
Sarah Silverman. If you like shock comedy, I'd get my hands on Jesus Is Magic right away. I find women very unfunny, but she makes you laugh and cringe at the same time. Such a pretty girl with such a dirty mouth. Honestly, have you ever heard a pretty jewish girl say "Oh god, please let them find semen in my dead grandmothers vagina" anywhere else? No really, you'll cringe, I guarantee it. (and go past the music scenes and crap, she's best on stage).
Stephen Lynch. Seriously, how can you not like this guy? Grandfather, For The Ladies and D and D are really funny tracks, and you know you're a fan when you love: Bowling Song (Almighty Malachi, Professional Bowling God).
If you're a comedy nerd, I'd look up some of the classics. Robin Williams was a fantastic standup before he "went Disney". Our generation knows him because of his movie career, but to be honest he is best on a stage with a microphone. Believe me, he is one of the funniest comedians, and how he could wreck his image with the shit movies he stars in is beyond me.
Eddie Murphy.........Everyone should really start here. I did. A lot of people like Delirious because it's his early show, but personally I regard Raw as one of the best pieces of comedy ever. Delirious is good, but he's still young and Raw is a much better finished product.
Bob Saget. Yes, Bob Saget. He's a pretty funny guy outside of Full House and Americas Funniest Home Videos. Find an old dirty VHS tape with him from the 80s and you won't believe that's the same guy you've seen on Full House.
Otherwise, find a comedy club in your area. Some of the best comedians are in small time clubs.

MNitch Hedberg is really awesome man , i really really really suggest looking up some of his stuff. Heres a few quotes , although quotes alone dont do him justice. His delivery is just amazingly funny.
"I went to a pizzeria and I ordered a slice of pizza; the fucker gave me the smallest slice possible. If the pizza was a pie chart for what people would do if they found a million dollars, the fucker gave me the 'donate to charity' slice. I would like to exchange this for the 'keep it'!"
"I make instant oatmeal in the morning then I don't do shit for an hour. Makes me wonder why I need the instant oatmeal. I could make the regular oatmeal and feel productive."
"I like vending machines, because snacks are better when they fall. If I buy a candy bar at the store oftentimes I will drop it, so that it achieves its maximum flavor potential."

Oh, get Richard Pryor for sure. He is probably the funniest stand up commedian ever.
I've never laughed so hard as I did when I heard his bit about lighting himself on fire while trying to shoot heroin. Then I died laughing again when I found out he had actually lit himself on fire while shooting heroin.
Oldies not mentioned
Sam Kinison - hilarious
Andrew Dice Clay - Meh, some bits are funny
Bill Crosby - Serious, the guy is just funny.
Rodney Dangerfield - Nuff said.
Edit - Oh I completely second the getting of Richard Pryor btw.

you forgot the greatest, george carlin
Patton Oswalt. I know you want just audio, but the movie Comedians of Comedy is very funny. It also features Maria Bamford, Brian Posehn, and Zack Gelifinakas (which I have no idea how to spell).
I love Mitch Hedburg, and I think that Demitri Martin does comedy kind of like that. We actually just got tickets to a Demitri Martin show in NYC next month, and I have high hopes for that.
I saw Todd Barry a while back and he was pretty awesome too.
Stoffer- Tell me more about the brilliant Pablo Francisco show. I've seen his Comedy Central special, and while I thought his voices were really funny, the stuff he was saying wasn't the greatest. If there was better material with those voices, I would probably love it.

Bill Hicks - Died in the 90s, nicknamed the Dark Poet. Pushing the line kind of comedian. Very good.
Doug Stanhope Another line pusher, way better in stand up than on his Man Show.
David Cross
Dane Cook
Mitch Hedburg

I don't know if this is the one you've seen, but this is pretty much what I'm talking about:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dheUa4ml6as
It comes in several versions depending where the show was filmed. This one's pretty good, but I first saw the show from Silicon Valley and I probably think it's the best version.

It should be funny, he ripped 50% of his act off of Bill Hicks. :)
