The graphics and "smoothness" of actions are not quite up there with WoW(at least not yet). I really dont give a shit as long as the gameplay is better though. The most fun I've ever had in a game is with original old school everquest models. I dont care about eye candy.

That video is rather old - I'm sure they have made great advancment since that was shot. But I agree gameplay > eyecandy.

Yeah, I saw that video a few months back. Some of the people I've shown it to are just like "that games graphics suck" - I don't get why people care so much about graphics. UO had like the worst graphics ever, but the best gameplay any game will ever have. I'm still not putting too much faith into Darkfall since we've been waiting for over a year just for beta, but I'm still hoping. Otherwise, there isn't shit for games in the future.

Yeah I have had my eyes on Darkfall since 02 or 03.. its been a long time coming thats for sure.

Have you taken a look at Age of Conan or Warhammer? Have a friend in Age of Conan alpha, and he was telling me how the Thief's stealth is more like blending in to his surroundings rather than just turning transparent. Something else about jumping from rooftop to rooftop to avoid guards in cities... sounded interesting to me at least, might be worth a look.

Warhammer looks decent, haven't paid any attention to the Conan shit.

I've only been really looking at Darkfall, that's why I hope it doesn't dissapoint.
