I tried to get into WoW.. but its just not for me man. I was so bored. :(

It's hard to get into any game years after release due to the fact that you don't have a chance to grow with the community and make a name for yourself. Everything has been done already. I could appreciate WoW because I played the warcraft III series so all the zones/maps were familiar to me, along with the lore. Too bad the game failed at pvp else I'd still be there. Still a great game imo.

It wasn't the class I was playing, but the game on a whole was pooo imo.

As for class in AoC I'm not sure, but I'm leanind towards the Lotus thief... but really I'm hoping to beta test it to find out more.

nah - game has great graphics and fun PvE dungeon/group play, but the performance is shit, and the PvP is weak. I have been keeping up with reading the boards and such, but everything I have read tells me the same thing I thought during beta.

Got into Fury Alpha, (http://unleashthefury.com/) so I will be checking that out in the meantime.
