DKs are really good pvp, the Shadowstep is ownage... But for pve its alot harder to get agro from the mobs you can but its harder... Clerics are awsome can take lots of mellee damage.. good heals... they can take a beating... warriors can be nasty definatly not a gimped class... But one thing you DO want if you are gonna Be Pvpin is a run speed buff.... Its Crucial due to the legnth of the fights that you have a run speed buff... the best ones id say are the druid wolf form... and bard runsong and shammy buff wich is equivilent of sow.... the bard song can be very very fast... but It does have a range an is easy to lose other party memebers on it... If you got a 3rd player a druid bard or shaman would seriously hlp you out... im sure other classes might have a run speed buff but thats what ive run into so far...
But yeah especialy since bows arent what they once were DK might be a very big option... and if you go half gaint... once you get lvl 10 horse quest just go through leth nurea and follow it to 3 rivers to meet up with the dwarf cleric.

yeah Thats me, Waiting for the item loot server to play again... But what ya been up to skcal? You playing Wow? But seriously if the bring up an item loot server you need to seriously check it out. Its a nice game... feels alot like old EQ Maybe not as cool as velious was but im still liking it. Played beta for a bit on the pvp server was a blast.. they had no penalties rewards or anything ... but it was still fun....

Im probably going to pick this up soon, how are necros? Do the classes play similar to their eq counterparts?
Any guides on the diff classes out there yet?

Myself, Genrah and Mortaneous are all on the FFA PVP server.
Game seems promising.
I still miss Rallos, though.

Bloodmages rape imo, Root, lifetap pwns just about everything.
The god class atm is cleric but a nerf is imminent.
I havent seen any necros in long time, but destroy in PVE dont know pvp anymore.
Sorcs (glass cannon) just got their teeth knocked out with the nerf bat they have a boost inc.
I love my Disciple I can kill just about anyone but a psion.
Psion are good but not a good solo class, or solo pvp.
Pallys rape too, Root, Stun, Huge melee hits and heals. Excellent solo class.
Druids are gods still too. They have the largest nukes in game atm other then bugged chaos volleys from sorc's and they summon like eq1 mage pets.
Warriors just get pwned in pvp with out a full group of buffs and a healer.
Rangers are burst damage and bow damage with snares and stuff they are good.
Dreadknight around lvl 24 is virtually instructable with small life taps and dot damage, they UNSNARABLE/ROOTABLE with some skill. They devastate casters and go toe to toe with any melee.
Bard well imagine the EQ bard on steroids but no trains.
