Anyone have any exposure to this game? It got decent reviews, but you never know.

Seems to be a drought of good MMORPG's as of late (or better yet, since EQ 1 died).

Garbage, forget DDO.

Try LOTRO if you are looking for something closer to the EQ1 experience. LOTRO has a few elements of EQ1 in it.

Steer clear of Vanguard. Its a dead in the water flop. Kick around in LOTRO/WoW untill WAR/Conan release.
