Please read this post entirely before applying to Darkenbane.
First off, if you're not absolutely serious about joining us, don't bother posting or reading the rest of this thread. Applying to us means you're applying to us, only. We do not want applicants who are unsure when applying to us and therefore any cross applications to other guilds made while your application is active with us will result in your application being denied.
Recruitment is open for all classes. Goal is to have 12 members online at any one point in time to go PvP with so small guild feel with enough members to do big things.
Openings are for level 50+ characters only. If you are below 50 feel free to send a tell to an officer of Darkenbane and maybe get to know some members.

Overview of Darkenbane
-A little insight as to how we are - Darkenbane has a very laid back atmosphere with members cracking fun at each other all the time as most of us have known each other for several years through several games since EQ1. We are a very mature minded guild, most all of us are adults who have no tolerance for childish acts or immaturity. If you are a bitch, someone who is going to whine or who does not make an effort to meld with the guild, then do not waste our time as we place a lot of emphasis on good attitudes.
-Organization and communication is a big part of the key to success and thus, it cannot be stressed enough. If you are someone who cannot follow simple instructions making our jobs difficult, then you will not last long. Basically, if you are incompetent or just a fuckin' idiot, stop reading and leave our website to save us both the trouble.
-Joining Darkenbane is not just joining a guild, you're joining a family. We aren't your average guild that dispurses after just playing one game together. Darkenbane has been around for several years through several games. Many of us have been through a lot together over the years and speak to eachother on a first name basis.
-The guild always comes first. We do just about anything we can for each other in this guild, in-game and out. The only thing selfishness will get you is a quick ticket out the door.
Recruitment Policy
-Our applicant time period is a minimum of 2 weeks to a maximum of 5 weeks. Your application process starts once we acknowledge your application and state the the process has started. How quick or slow we decide on accepting you is dependent upon your interaction and play time with us.
-Any inactivity that is produced by you during your application period may prolong the application period and/or prevent you from being accepted.
-It is up to YOU to get yourself involved with US in regards to groups and getting to know the guild and its members. We may contact you as we see fit, but it is up to you to maintain communication with us. We suggest you try to spark conversation with our members during play time, over ventrilo or be continually active on our forums via posts.
-After 2 weeks from the start of your application process, a meeting with the officers will be scheduled to discuss your progress. If sufficient progres has been made your final test will be a duel versus one of our members. This is not about winning or losing its about your ability to play the game that you will be judged.
Raids
-Please don't ask me about raiding, it gives me headaches. We will not be raiding... PvE content. However we will be raiding PvP style everytime we have numbers to do so. If you want to run PvE raid content i'm sure there's a zerg guild that will let you in on every 3rd monday after the officers have gotten their loot.
