hey any bros out there know where I can find a ported S15L7 Box? one 3.0 or larger.
Ive checked out a lot of places online and the only thing I could find was a 1.5 size which is pointless in using.

what kinda car you putting this in? a 15" L7 is overkill of anything besides like a van..those fuckers hit HARD. they also have a tendency to suck hella power, so make sure youve got a badass amp attached to it. also, you gonna have a cap in it?
edit: point of thread...youre best bet is to just have a stereo friend of yours make you a box, paying 50-100 bucks for some plywood is BS

Yeah I know it was going to be big overkill. its going into a grand am so my car will probably fall apart.
Going to be bumping it with a JBL BP1200.1.
Hard to find a big ported box for any sub never mind the solobarics. The guys that make these boxes dont know whats up.
Probably will need a cap, and ill have to keep my lights and AC turned off when using it. My alt is only 105amp.
You slammin anything in your ride valk?

im stereo free atm (more into performance, like the sound of engine, like lightweight) but, as my title says...i know everything 8^)
ya you gonna need a better alternator..prolly for any setup you run..one you got sounds kinda weak. sounds like a fairly nice amp hehe, how many l7's were you planning on getting anyway?
youre right about the falling apart bit, you gonna have to stand outside your car while stereo is on with a screwdriver tightening everything down that rattles 8^) nothing worse than hearing that annoying fucking license plate cover over your bass

I was browsing the sounddomain boards and a few guys said they had no dimming or anything when they were pushing 1,000watts. But then there were others that said they did. Guess it depends on the make.
Im just installing it then ill see what happens power wise.
oh yeah and ive got the 2 tons of dynamat waiting to be thrown on hehh :D
