Haha check this out.

With the new UI theres a bug you can use to equip ANY item in ANY slot as long as it is droppabe. Meaning... I can wear a fungi in earring slot.

Or in this case... A mrylokar bracer in my ring slot.

Notice in the pic the Cured Tizmak Surcoat in the upper left earring slot..:D

Coterie General Boots in Range slot.

I kind of like the Velium Spear / Sentry maul duel wield'ing wiz look myself..

I don't really think you can be caught doing it unless a GM actually see's you...

... I need to find a right click snare item, some donal's vambraces, and um... a JBB.

btw, found this on the SZ@War boards.

I dunno if I'm gonna use it or not, but I'd like to try out a Tantor's Tusk in my rogue's mainhand for BS's.. /drool

Oh yah.. almost forgot... How to actually do it.

1) Enable new GUI or it wont work

2) Make sure you have an item in the slot you want your new item to go in

3) Drop new item on ground

4) Look at the item on the ground

5) Open up inventory and line up the item on the ground with the slot you want it in and the cursor. So basically if you want to put a shoe in your ammo slot, you would drop the shoe on the ground, line up the inventory box with the shoe on the ground so they are directly covering eachother, and then put your cursor on your ammo slot.

6) Close your inventory, click on the item on the ground. Your inventory should come up with your cursor covering your ammo slot. Speed click yo.

It's all about speed, when you line it up and close your inventory you have to click FAST.

Ok once you did that it will appear your item poofed and your holding something.. just put that in a bag and recamp. Tahdah!

I'm not going to repeat the things that Alan's already stated so well. 99.9% of the people who play EverQuest do so in a fair manner, and agree that there is no room for cheating as part of EverQuest.

Unfortunately, this message is addressed to the other 0.01%.

If you've "accidentally" ended up with items equipped that your race or class cannot normally equip, and/or have any items that haven't been earned in the lines of acceptable gameplay under the EULA, we strongly recommend that you log in your character before tonight's patch and unequip any mismatched items and delete any duplicates.

As of tomorrow's patch, please do not be surprised when items gained in an illicit manner and/or wrongly equipped are creatively, forcibly un-equipped.

We already have logs of who's done what, and we'd like to extend an opportunity to those who may have tried something out "just for fun" to take their actions back.

As a team, we've been congratulated quite a bit lately for many of the positive changes that we've been making to the game, and we're glad to continue to improve upon what we still believe is the most enjoyable online game out there.

However, please do not mistake our intent. The rule does stand: If you cheat to get around the system, you must be willing to accept the consequences.

Cheat in EverQuest; Bad Things Happen.

Once again, to the vast majority of people who play EverQuest in the true spirit of the game, we're sorry that we've had to take up your time with this.

We thank everyone who has submitted /bug reports and feedback here in the Dev Corner on this issue. No punitive action has been or will be taken against those who discover and report bugs, and stop taking advantage of them.

Thank you.

You can't beat the system no matter what you do in EQ. I would just play by the rules because whatever you exploit,or something is working perfect because of a bug. You are either going to get caught,or get banned. People think that exploiting bugs for item clicks, or leveling is going to get them set,and everything is going to be easy on RZ.
No,you are going to get caught, and thats that. JUst being blunt here because you can only get away with something so long on RZ.
It's a waste of time. No wizard cant duel weld LOL ,and someones going to report it no doubt.
Yeah the patch will fix that, lucky for you it's getting fixed, and you don't get busted due to verants stupid ass errors.
Remember your 55,how long did it take you to get that ? You worked your ass off bigtime.
Don't fuck it up for yourself :D
You will never beat the system with the evil VI.
I mean its hard enough for a pker to level passed 51.
Keep it clean, and don't get banned damnit la ~ :D
I don't want to be hearing "Daefuin got banned yesterday"
Tare: Why damnit !!!
Because he took advantage of a bug
Tare: Bah fuck verant !!!!!!

Someone mentioned a monk on a blue server who put a shuriken of tranquility(100 damage) in his primary and got himself about 27 AAs in 4 hours before he got caught.
