For those of you that have been wondering if Darkenbane will be in Shadowbane, we are. We are currently working on a roster and organizing our members into classes so we will have a balanced guild from the beginning. We are currently recruiting and seeking all positions from officer to member. i will be with darkenbane in shadowbane as long as we dont start mass retard recruiting like happened on RZ and SZ and instead stick to core people and the member voting system paid attention to this time around.

darkenbane is by far the best guild ive ever been in and some of the coolest people but i dont think i can tolerate having things run nice and smooth for the first couple months with just the core members and a few new people and then being surrounded by dempigs again a couple months later =P

I just checked out the website,and I am definately making an Assasin or thief. I just hope SB offers much much more skills to the thief.
I hope a thief can do burgluries,and pickpocket from other players.
I also hope they can climb walls {like DAOC promised us,but failed to make}
I hope they can rob businesses,peoples houses. DAmn what good is a thief if their best ability,and thats stealing is nerfed.

I wouldnt mind trying out SB once it comes out but they better have a few issue changes that have pissed me off in most MMPOG games.....

1) Less/No clones- Sucks to have to run around either the wilderness or towns just to find everyone looking the same as you :P made me feel like i was in a circus on RZ being an iksar.

2) More options with spells- Being a cleric on SZ i got hit by every possible spell in the game and it has almost no variation. I notice this on most other games as well but they could/should put in some why to specialize on certain attacks/skills more than others (maybe the same fashion that you can on Diablo 2 or a variation of this). I do understand that with Wizards you get more than one line of attacks to use but with other casters you dont... and alot of the time your attacks dont do shit to people at high lvls. Finding spells in hidden areas or killing high end monsters is one thing but making a character (shaman for instance) have more powerful/less resisted poison attacks rather than ice attacks or improving your healing so that your actually effective is another.

3)Wall bugs/water bug/ zoneing back and forth- Probably the cheapest shit that can ever happen when trying to kill someone (maybe not the water bug in this case because you could just jump in and nuke them). Alot of these can be resolved ( make it so spells actually have graphics so some can go through walls (or over them if its a spell like icecomet) and others need direct line of sight (nothing blocking you), water bug could be fixed by either making it so some spells go through water and others cant (makes sense that a fireball would be ineffective in water :P) and zoning bug can be fixed simply by not letting people zone back through a zoneline for a min after they go through and if they plug they will pop up on the other side LD.

4)Corpse runs- I played a game called Dungeon siege recently and one thing that was fairly interesting was the concept of dying and having a ghost/spirit to run around as. This would be a pretty interesting addition and making it so that you would rebind (come back to life) after 2min (to get clear of monsters) and being invis to everyone in your group or some form of universal invis would be much better than getting killed on a different continet just to find that your still bound to a city on the other side of the world....

Just some additions i would like to see in SB, i dont know if they would be able to impliment them or if some of these are already in the game but they would improve the gameplay with some/any of these changes (although it would require alot of resources to get it started and keep it running as lag issues would build up). I may be playing SB but i wont have internet for a few months (as im moving to Calgary, AB in 2 weeks) and cant really afford it =/. If im worthy to put on the roster i would be glad to join if everything works out.

I was in Gfay trying to sell some stuff that I had pked earlier that week, and was really getting annoyed by the constant spamming tells of the naked unguilded druid Azzyn. He kept spamming me with things like "Lets gank ppl!" "DUDE COME TO BBM AND KILL!" and I wasn't really in the mood due to some family issues which I can tell you about if you need.

Eventually to shut him up I gated and we killed a few people, I was getting ready to log and then we attacked and killed a troll who had a fungi tunic, I told him lets gate to Gfay to sell it, he never came and kept spamming me instead (which he did ALOT and it got alot of people pissed off), and the constant immature spamming of azzyn wasnt helping my mood, he drove me to just sell it and log, and I could only log in once after that for a few seconds to say bye to wetall and some other of mah friends before I had to leave for a long ass time (6 months, during the period which DB broke up and remade to DBC and people went to SZ).

Azzyn was NOT DB, and I was not told by him or any others that he had a char in DB, or anything else, in my mind he was just another 10 year old naked druid, Celoco is just BSing to try and get me in shit.

You can ask alot of people, i'm as honest as they come.

Gink was in my db recruiting class...he was fun to pk with and chill with..he rolled on ALL loots even if they were wis items that I didnt need..he INSISTED that we roll on it. Id say, dude u can have it, and he would put it in trade window a press accept, he said take it...he even would give me the cash loots and I never knew why. I would be very disapointed if Gink wasent able to join us on SB. Hes a loyal, hardworking, totally unselfish, guildmate. Sure, this might not be much commin from a punk that has flamed this board for two long..but I would hope anyone that thinks gink is a scammer would reconsider. That is all.
