Guys, I know your just going to the strongest guild on the server right now, but man are you willing to sacrifice your morals to hang with those people in LV?

Mintal admits that he would train AD on a raid and not think twice about it, and he has. The guild is full of jerks like that, that are RESPONSIBLE for giving pks the rep they have.

LV is top dog right now, far as pk guilds go, but man, at what cost??

The people who I'm talking too are Ghecko...Vallidus...etc. You guys know what pvp is about, no matter what side your on. Man o man, The people LV picks up and supports. To be wearing the same guild tag above your head...... /shudder

I've respected LV. I didnt like some of their members, but they had my respect for doing what they did. If they sit there and say in their rules "Don't train, don't exp loss, we don't do it" Then blatantly allow people to do it. That's SUCH a hypocrisy. That doesn't earn my respect.

I've killed some LV. I witnessed first hand an LV training a mob on the party I was in, cause his necro friend was owned, and he was OOR and couldn't do anything about it.

I speak from personal experience.

As far as the Voltaic in KD or whoever in ToV - i can't really comment because I wasn't there. I'm reading the story like you, as it develops.

I'm no saint Rahne. I'll admit that. I have trained the ever-loving bejeezus out of people corpse camping exp deathed corpses - as i figured they were trying to cause me and my friends exp rez-timer deaths. So i'm noone to point a finger. If I did i'd be a hypocrite. I've seen times where fighting back as dirty as you're faught is the only choice left.

I was quickly dissilusioned after going PK when I found out how dirty the moral majority plays. We went into seb to PK (muaha). Some fuck-hole SK comes with a 10 frog train - runs all the way up to us, and FD's. Before the evac goes off, I kick the dude and he gets mauled by all the frogs (break his FD). Dirty? Hell yeah. Did he deserve it? Oh yeah. Did I feel bad? hell no - fuck that dude.

Then there are your real piece of shit anti's like Sadko. Tries training us repeatedly in Seb. Before that trains Talendor over our CR camp 5 times before Shoon smoked him.

I play EQ to hang out with friends, smoke people, have a good time, and most of all get some good PvP on. I will always fight fair, until some fuck-nut tries some underhanded dirty shit, then I quickly sink to thier level and give them some of thier own medicine.

Take the other night in PoG (check out LV news pics / page). That shit was Text-Book (and clean). And thats how I've seen it in LV in my short time there so far. Text-Book and clean. But ask me in another month or so - i just joined.

Wish everyone played by the same rulebook, but you can't judge everyone in a guild by the actions of 1 individual. If that were the case I'd have bad things to say about HiV, TF, DB, LV, FoTG, CN, AD, DoS, XX, HoT, TB, Tinkers, MiM etc etc etc.

Exivate revived DB on RZ, and then quit for his own reasons. Can't blame him. He handed the reigns over to Aytowun who did a great job, but recently got a good RL job so he can't be on nearly as much as he was. Ask Scurry how fun a guild of 2 people is.

DB didn't get 'absorbed' or 'merged' with LV - nor did we sneak in the middle of the night or turn our backs on DB.

Alot of us who play regularly went over, after discussing it in great detail on private forums with everyone in guild (even aytowun).

We did all our raiding / alot of PKing with our buds in LV - so it seemed like a natural progression to migrate over there. Hell, I think there are still people en route.

Whoa there Arri, calm down for a second! Me piping in because you insult my crew is very different from me claiming responsibility when a guildmember trains. Do I train personally? No. Have I ever? Probably on a few occasions. If my guildmate trains someone else how do I react? Well, it depends. In the Talendor situation I completley agreed with what Wetall did. Sadko had trained Talendor on us previously, and was trying to get him aggrod for a train this time anyway. So fuck it, we are all nude and have exp deathed corpses to retrieve and rez. Training three wyvrenn's on those pussies was the only option avaliable - so to Wetall I would've said, had he asked :), go for it!

LV has a minimum level requirement of 55, on top of that you have to apply and get voted on (like we all did). I'm sure Tare will be working on exp.

Every run-in I've had with LV was a pleasant one. They seem to be pretty nice people, from what I've seen.

Haha.. I remember that. Naquiris(sp?) was attacking you naked and I got the last spell in, then I snared Naq and dotted him. LOL.. he hopped to the zone and got so low he couldn't move. He was just kind of.. bouncing.. a little (trying to jump) and was literally like a step away before I finished him and sent a tell.

And yes, you did save my life that time in SK. I was uncon with some ranger beating on me and you got that heal off, and right before I went uncon I was casting gate, so I got that off too.

LoL somethings will never change. I guess the one thing I learned playing this silly game is that the political BS and resentment over it or over someone is pointless. What does it matter in 5 years from now? Or at death? Why argue to the point of resentment towards each other over such sillyness?

The imperminence of life itself far outweighs any worth of hatred, resentment, bickering, grudges, or opinions of right from wrong over a game meant to be enjoyed. I do not see how anyone enjoys this game with such venom of attitude. Just an opinion:)

Thus I found the greatest way to enjoy whats left of this tiring game is to remain outside of politics. Remain guildless and let the people bicker to fuming point over nothing more simple then something installed on your computer meant to be enjoyed:)

These same arguments over who "owns" who, right from wrong, bitterness, and many other similarities have been said again and again and again and again and again and again. Doesn't it seem redundant? Actually, to be honest, I don't really agree with you, as chipper as you sound. heh. People fight when they don't see eye to eye. That's just life. Doesn't matter if it's because of what goes on in a game, or because you're not getting along with someone in the work place. The circumstances surrounding it don't make it trivial, and hell -- sometimes it's just fun to argue with someone that irks you. I think it's better to argue with someone that you find offensive than to try and remain indifferent because in 5 years it won't matter, anyway. You're right in the case that looking back in 5 years, I probably won't care about the fights I've had on an EQ board with people that I play EQ with, but are you going to care about the fight you had with you husband about such-and-such thing 5 years ago, either?

You probably won't, but at the time? It would matter to you.

I was walking up hills both ways with rags around my feet, to pk people before you were even a twinkle in Verant's eye!!! Back in MY day, pk'ers didn't have these fancy "Spells" or fancy "Melees" we used to walk up to people and look at them a certain way, and then they'd give us a piece of gear which was usually more rags to tie around our feet! And we LIKED IT, weeeee LOVED IT.

Truthfully over the last year or so I have learned to be content with whatever befalls in life. Whether someone stabs at me in a demeaning way or similar, it really doesnt matter. Will revenge make me happier? Doubtfully. The only person whose fault it is if you take offense to any attacks meant your way and get angry is your own, no one elses.

Call me Ghandia or whatever lol. Doesnt matter, fighting never leads anywhere. Its a big circle. Hence I have come to terms with people I thought I didn't like. If they choose to attack me verbally with insults or whatever just as well to take it in stride. Only how "you" react is what matters. I choose not to react and continue the cirlce of pointlessness. Though I did react to this thread lol! Hopefully to no demeaning way towards anyone:)

Everyone has faults, if one can come to terms with this and accept them as they are, life changes for the better.
