Hi, My name is Manie... I do think that political views do not really matter in friendship's and relationship's... Because I've been born and raised with the political drone sheep of the North/East obviously I could not possibly have had a Real life relationship with someone agenst my

However, what I can speak from experience with is this guy I once new who:

Anyway, me and this guy were friends for almost a year being pretty damn close, having alot of fun in EQ together and never once did politic's come up and there was never a problem!
One day out of no where politic's come up, we discuss our opinions and then all of a sudden politic's is everything in a life and we can no longer be friend's.... BUT Forget the past year, that was a mistake, I was wrong cause on my "Hi my name is" card, I forgot to write my political status.

Plenty of my friends have different views on different things, and I kinda like it. I surround myself mostly with people that agree on the big things, though.

Imo those people are the worst. I work with someone that tries to come off as this bible beater, yet she calls her own daugther a whore in the same sentence while quoting the bible. I mean how christian is that? She's always quoting the bible, it acutally freaks me out.

The degree to which someone disagrees with me usually corresponds to the degree with which they are friends with me, assuming political beliefs come up as a subject.

For example, I used to get along with Darwoth and Yoink and the such, until political opinions came up when we realized we are virtually polar opposites within the sphere of modern industrialized national politics.

That said, I don't *hate* conservatives and libertarians and the such, although I hate their beliefs. If that clarifies it somewhat.
