Honest info about SB preaze

2 things that killed me when I was looking into Shadowbane. The click and move and some of the graphics. Specifically the faces of the toons looked horrible.

For those that have played, let me know some honest opinions on these items. Thank yu

Ive only watched people play it, but on anything less than a cable/dsl the "click and move" shit is really annoying. similar to diablo.

Thats pretty mean Stoffer, dont have to be an ass to answer his questions :P and if he doesnt want his character to look like a gimp when he plays or that he looks like 7 other people in the same building he would want to know what options he might have. It is useful to have cable or better while playing any internet game as well as a new comp (2.0+ giga hertz or better) which is around $600-800 but you can live without if the cost is to much. Graphics look awsome on SB from what ive seen (easily comparable to EQ but maybe worse than Luclin) and i believe there are alot of options for characters in making them look original/unique.

Ive been mostly wondering how pvp will work because many are comparing it to Diablo 2 (which sucks later in the game because everyone hacks and wear armor that takes days/weeks to get) or Dungeon Siege. Would really suck if people could just run around and not get hit because you have to be standing still to do damage =/ Hope that answered a few questions.

#1 I don't play on a modem, but click and move is shitty, regardless of connection. But then again I have never played so I don't know the exact mechanics.

#2 I wasn't specifically looking for 'nice' model faces. But when I looked at screenies, the char model faces in fact do look like shit. They stood out, and look like cardboard cutouts, which again is shitty for a up and coming game.

Omg, I didnt see it was click and move.. totally changes my opinion about it now : \ diablo is ok game, wouldve liked it better if it wasnt click and move. It throws you off alot if you accidently click on the screen or something, next thing you know your killing your friend lol. I still *might* try it but with my crappy computer I dont know now. ::sigh:: guess i'll just have to quit games all together :P

buy a new computer? its only about 500/600$ for a 2ghz 512 MBram, geforce 4 etc etc.

Ya I know I need a new computer :P Only played 3 online games.. Chain of Command, Diablo, and Everquest. CoC was my fav but it was like a war game of capture the flag.. but it was really fun. and Diablo lagged way bad so imagine*sp?* how sb will be lol. I will probably still try it out, hope I like it. :\
