Heck ya, I ran on Woorlok. I was looking at my spellbook and got rocked for 91 damage, stood up and saw more than one person nearby and took off. Would rather not be rooted/snared in a Grimling Cave when I am trying to camp an item.

I will gladly fight you 1 on 1 sometime, if you like.

It was just you, a newbie troll and I in the cave. And the troll said he was with you ;p I'll 1v1 you, but my gear is pretty crappy.

The troll was with me. There were 5 people on track, including yourself and the troll right before you hit me and when I stood up, there was you, the troll and at least one person, human in a red robe, didn't con them, on their way down the caves into the chamber.

Send me a tell when you want to 1v1. I am in Kunark at the moment, but next time we are in close proximity, we can fight for kicks.

Haha, i remember the first time i found out Scurry was Woorlok. I believe i was on my necro :)

Had a really funny conversation with Genrah right after that rofl.

Good memory, that was a long time back. It was funny, though. I think it went something like this.....

Necro to Genrah: "Hahaha......your friend just pulled the plug on me in East Karana".

Genrah to Necro: "Ya, I know, I'm the one that pulled it for him".

I had no idea which plug to pull (I am computer deficient) and was yelling into the next room in semi-panic mode, being heavily dotted, asking which one to pull. Finally he just ran in and yanked the plug.

Good stuff. I don't mind a laugh at my expense.

Actually what made it even more funny to me was this.
After all the fighting i did against scurry and Genrah with Staiv....so much so we actually became friends.

Then i was on my necro and this twinked ass ranger attacks me, and since i was twinked myself and was full mana, full hp with shadow step up and pvp spells ready in an open field, this twinked ranger was pretty much screwed.

So then i am telling one of my friends about the encounter a few minutes later and he says "you know thats scurry right?"
So i started laughing and then i sent Genrah a tell and said "do you know Woorlok?" He denies it, but then i tell him "Oh, btw this is Staiv, i just made some twink ranger named woorlok zone plug and someone told me it was Scurry."

Genrah then says, "yea, i am the one that pulled the plug"

I had a hella laugh on that one.

Haha, yea, that was a funny fight too. 2 overtwinked wizards without enough mana to finish the other off due to massive hitpoints lol.

I have had a lot a memorable fights, and to some extent i miss playing, but i dont miss verants stupidity and comeplete lack of customer service.

I remember a fight with me(on my ranger staiv) and Tulriff(an exact copy of staiv and a good friend of mine) vs scurry, genrah and crassius (sp?) in lake of ill omen and frontier mtns. I think we fought for over an hour.

The time HiV made some twinks to come "clean our clocks" , meaning Legion of legends , because we had been raising so much hell. They made 4 gnome wizards, and 2 erudite wizards and had level 50+ druid and enchanter buffs including rune4. The funny part was at first the denied having any kind of buffs (even though we still chased them off every single time we faced them) but it was kinda obvious that something was up when 4 flame shocks and 4 shock of lightnings did zero damage to a level 16. Anyway we would chase them off, they would go refresh their buffs, we chase them off repeat multiple times until finally they just stopped hiding the 50+ chanter and druid and brought them along for the fight. In the end 4 Legions finally managed to kill 1 of them and the druid and chanter went OOM so the others gated out.


Then there was the time Flowers of happiness hijacked highpass hold. There were about 30 of them there. So I went with a couple other legions (on Mawwle) to go check it out. It turned out that most of them were out of our range. There were only about 4 or so we could hit, but with over 20 other people to heal and buff them it was very difficult, but we did manage to finally get a kill on every one in range except this one sk, cant remember his name.

I have tons of great memories from EQ, almost all of them are pvp related too, i dont see how people could possibly get any fun of playing on a bluebie server after a couple fo months.

I am really looking forward to shadowbane, hope it turns out to be good.

Sheesh, Lake of Ill Omen with Crassius, that's old school. You have a good memory, man. Those were some good times. I agree, if I think of my top EQ memories, very few of them involved fighting an NPC.

Mawwle also was one nasty mother fucker lol I remember Mawwle,and Leebowski were looking for Alauniira in Highkeep to smack her down after I had my girlfriend post on RZ.net,and act all cocky,and shit roleplaying a de chic image lol Alauniira was up in the highest balcony in Highkeep pissing my pants lol

Than Nnuk quoted "I like this Alauniira,she sounds very Artful" lol
He was going to give Alauniira a chance to try out for Artful but I pushed it by mouthing off,and acting like an ass lol

Alauniiras 37 to this day,and I might get her to 44,and stop there forever. But with this new patch I hate getting snared,and blinded.

I gotta say those were very fun days in EQ.
