waiting for the vcd, i seriously doubt its worth $9 to see it at the theatre. on a related note, avoid 'the ring' at all costs, what a shitty cheap thrill horror movie, rent the 1998 jap film "ringu" if you want to be scared.

btw, ever see steve-o's video "dont try this at home"? check that out if you liked jackass, really sick shit.

The ring was a movie that makes you think a bit and put things together yourself, like the silent hill games, but I would suspect that you Kovak aren't one of those people.

I loved the movie, was one of my favorite movies of all time, good story, good scarey parts, it was great.

I haven't seen the The Ring yet myself, but a friend of mine not easily impressed by movies (and self-proclaimed movie buff :p)can't seem the stop talking about this one. Might be worth a watch for that.

I loved the Ring. I'de recommend it to anyone.

I got to Prievew Jackass w/ my friend who manages at a theatre so I got lucky and saw it without any drunk bastards or people who were going to be fucking noisy. It was funny, just basically an hour and a half long Jackass episode.

The Japanese original of Ring is pretty amazing. I've been told the hollywood remake cost a lot in terms of special effects, which is surprising considering the original had virtually no special effects in it. It's the only film I've ever seen where suspense has worked amazingly well (and there's only one lame sudden jump moment that plagues most "horror" films.) It's kind of like blair witch, but japanese, scary and not crap
