I know alot of ya don't know who the fuck I am, but i started EQ way back in the kerrygetz days, at first fighting him then fighting alongside him. I got to know some heads in DB and joined up, shortly after i was banned from EQ for bullshat and forced to start over got around lvl 30ish and was banned yet agian lol.

So i dung up a necromancer to lvl 34 and gave up on lvling all together flew Db tags(virtualy garunteeing i would never ding further) and ran around killen MFer's. I also helped run Dark Unity on my alt Hiddukel(till Shaee started inviting every tard across the server and I disbanded the guild). I cleared most of DB's members for access to the guild with Alec when he was running the show, people like Stoffer, Samoken, Iccullus, Macosa, and Fistanthalas to name a few.

So I hear DB's moving to Scorn so I of course begin playing there.
I see a few people i know start bullshiting with um and hear Darwoth(who i really never knew from EQ) started up a guild called SC. I give him a tell start bullshitten with um for a good 5 minutes or so and then i ask um what his lvl requirement is for the guild. He tells me sec and im like K, I give um 2-3 hours figuring he's busy and shit and I hate bothering people with mundane shit. So I finally tell him back "hey bro whats your lvl requirement" and he replies "dude i said im busy".

I let it go don't say shit about it cause it's not my style even though im lvl 38 and need to be finding a real guild soon. So upon the request of alot of RL friends we make Darkenbane and figure alot of people will join and can eventually hand the guild over to someone more qualified to lead it (At the time i had no idea every Dber was Sc just figured a few went their seperate ways and made their own shit). So i send Nizno a tell who i never knew from Rallos but i knew alot of people in TB and he welcomes the new DB happily as subguild cool as shit about it.

Now im lvl 42 chillen at giants and Darwoth asks me in Leader chat who was in DB, I told um just me Samoken and Iccullus atm but Fist and Ryk prolly soon. So he tells me basically all the lowbie nobodies who got in during the rush. I just say whatever dude, and he goes on to threaten me with disbanding the guild or he'll pk DB members on sight. I tell um if your name aint Grayrage STFU.

A yelling match ensues threatening all kinds of drama in a nation i just joined and to stop from making waves i agree to disband the guild and rename it. After i say that to Darwoth in Leader chat he replies with smart move I don't want any lowbies further ruining the Db name lmfao. So i realise now this guy just can't be cool so I say SUCK my dick jagoff i'm doing this for niz not you. And he has the balls to say WTf your is your problem? You serious?

Later I log on to hear SK is under attack, So i get a summon to Volinarrd and try to swim there, lol and die in sight of the shore.
Then I get summoned into town and am forced to jet off after the first party dies. A few survivers remained we regrouped and began taking out the seige engines on the west side. Vastly outnumbered we managed to hold the west side of town till out of nowhere r30's come to wipe out OSC. Afterward everyone leaves EXCEPT me and Darwoth who was in the bank during most of the raid, when about 20 osc come back into town and I die right next to Darwoth holding my ground.

After that I reroll my guy lvl back up to 40 and hear Tb and Sc split all this bullshit happened and SC is now r30's. Even tho I don't really like r30's I still wanted to chill with old friends so i ask for membership into SC. Figuring after the Sk incident everything was cool now im amazed to hear Darwoth got a problem with me and when i tell him to settle shit he has the BALLS to call me untrustworthy?????? And then deny me membership.

Goddamn this is long post even for me. So anyways after calling me every name in the book (most of which was incoherant rambling with many unneccassary adjectives). He decided to change his mind and offer me membership if i didn't act like a fucktard and whine about shit causing all this drama lmfao.

Every action I've made so far defined Loyalty to true members of Darkenbane. You wanna lie on messege boards deny shit where i have no say in the matter or no voice to speak go right ahead.
NO I won't join SC or DB whilst your incharge you lack both the intellect and diplomacy to understand the tactics of this game. Hopefully the rest of SC will wise up and realise there chances on this server are better off without you. If im seen as a traitor for saying this so be it... On Rallos, Sullon and Shadowbane I have never turned my back on Darkenbane...

Now it seems I've been placed on the opposite side of the fence and im a member of LAPD. I think a one guild server won't be much fun on scorn sorry you guys don't understand that, your gonna fight for R30's and im gonna fight to see they end up dead. Maybe things will be better when the dust clears maybe not.

Incidentally and for the record, you had a few guys go to bat for you with Darwoth only to be somewhat chagrined when he was finally convinced to give yah a go only to have you tell him you were not interested. Made the guys who stood behind yah feel kind ghey.

Also for the recrod and no offense to the LAPD (the real LAPD), but the guild who are a part of that "nation" should be ashamed at having to take a name like that instead of one of them stepping up and leading the nation and using a solid gamming community type name.

Things like "coalition" "Alliance" ect....why use a real life thing like LAPD to name your nation after? Seems kinda unoriginal and, frankly, jevenile. What's next? Guild's named "X Men"?

Guilds like the Begotten which have such a rich history of originality in the gaming comunity should be ashamed to be part of a rediculous organization that has to stoop to such things.

Now that I think of it, a name like "Shadow Consortium" would have been a cool Nation name ;p But LAPD? lol.

Well, as I am sure you are aware, I had/hvae no input on any of the names in SB beyond my own ;p

I really hate to be a TB cheerleader, but they seemed to be the only big names that came up with an orginal city name (Acheron)...although SC's keep name was cool too. Frankly, I would take pride in trying to come up with cool names instead of copying stuff from other places. Would be more fun to be sure.

Policing names is prolly really hard tho, so no complaints. Would be more important IMHO to just fix the basic stuff like server stability :)

When he saw me go down the last MFer willing to stay in his town fighting right next to him there should be no question of my loyalty. For him to even say that, and deny that he knew I was in SK, says he's just gonna bide his time to pull some more low down dirty shit the minute I sleep in guild.

tb didnt have much choice... it was either be a zerg in r30s, or ally with the OSC people and have a huge leadership role. In my eyes it was the lesser of two evils. A small guild like TB couldnt hope to hold out against r30 or the previous osc alliance.

As I understand it, Begotten isn't in a leadership role of LAPD... Hell from what I heard is some nobody newbie is so nobody could say they disliked or thought he'd be biased... The whole LAPD has 1 mission, to defeat R30 and then I have a feeling it'll be disbanded 10 hours after R30 goes down.....

Almost every single PvP guild allied under R30, so everyone who fought R30 is now allied and check it out all of a sudden the R30 backbone is starting to play less and less... Mark my words, the backbone of R30 is on it's way out, they will come up with some lame excuse why they want to move onto a different game as there defeat is in sight and all of a sudden the glue holding R30 together will disappear (Sin/Merc's/CC) and guilds like SC will be left to hold R30's name, which no affence can't happen agenst LAPD.
When R30 falls, so will LAPD and then we'll see where Begotten stands :P

Not that im saying the war would be going this good without them, Ritalin has developed alot of the solid strategies for our success and we all know Copland is the true nations capitol and rallying point of the war. But If we gotta hand credit on the battlefield I'd have to say it's Melsa of Arcania-Z that earned the title of General. In alot of ways she would seem to have stepped up from out of nowhere, but i gotta give her credit she's been both ruthless and dominant on the war scene and it was in a large part due to her that Oakland was razed to the ground.

I can't really comment on the whole TB-Dreadlord convergance thing, personally I've never been a fan of R30's I see why they did it but I have no fawken clue why anyone would abandon Copland.

As for the SC and TB war i don't fully even know what happened to cause it. As far i as i recall (admittedly i have a poor memory though), I never deleted any pictures that were uploaded to the site. I do think some really old pics got lost in th shuffle when we upgraded from a manual upload system (i used to upload all pics myself) to one where individuals do it themselves.

Starbright: Good friend of mine, massive pk. We would use the fear bug and drop people, it really helped when a lvl 49 druid was around to save your ass. She ALSO was in DB for a short while.
Drakuul: He was the leader of the guild Dark Carnival. This THE ORIGINAL guild to attempt fear. This is the original guild that killed Vox and Naggy. This guy was also a hardcore, exploiting pker that tried to raise hell but usually was just a pest.

Fist, because they pked before your time doesn't mean they faded into obscurity. Maybe if your perception is the Darkenbane Message board, then yes, you wouldn't hear about these people much. However, if you look at other message boards, when topics come up about early eq days, you hear about these names. It all depends on where you look. Hell, most of the people I have played games with since Everquest.

They terrorized zone after zone for 4+ years. That way blows away the accomplishments of any of the old schoolers who made a name for themselves then just dissappeared after a few months of playing.


Also if I remember correctly, the thing that made the name Kerrygetz so notorious even after he was gone is that he was one of the first, if not THE first person to be banned on RZ for exploiting/harassment. Something like that will make your name stick around. Being a nasty PK and then leaving the game after about 6 months is only gona get you forgotten.

I think Kerrygetz' notoriety comes from the fact he prolly killed about 90% of the people that had low lvl chars back inthose days, one way or another, especially inthe nektulos-commons-oasis area. He would sit around Neriak all day sending peeps into guards, then hed level up an go round Oasis an send people into Dw's(me for example grrr...) or Spectres... and so on and so on til he got banned. He not onlt killed people, but he did it in 'style'.

He was probable more responsible for the removal of charm in pvp then any other player in eq, because he used it relentlessly. Im not saying Kerry's a god or whatnot, but I believe thats why people remembered him. Hell theres hundreds ofpks out there that will just kill ya.

Speaking of old school pks, anyone remember Soyy and McClintok from waaaaay back when in Everfrost-Qeynos area? Those guys were pretty well known back then, I remember being very excited when I came back to Ef with my Shaman, with my new lvl 14 uber pvp spells(hehe) and smoking both of'em with the help of my rogue pal(who was prolly sporting FS at best back then at that lvl)

I didn't know about the rivalry at the time and thought he just wanted to watch a fight so I reluctantly left it on for a bit. When the announcers starting talking about the two previous fights, I started to get pretty pumped up. When the fight finally came on I was like rolling on the floor yelling and laughing at how hard these athletes were fighting. It was crazy. Anyone who thinks they know boxing doesn't know shit unless they can recognize the fact that Gatti the skinny Wop and Ward the skinny Mick are two of the most talented and athletic boxers of our time.
