COnsidering the rumros are out that EQ2 will not have pvp (and even if it does, we question it's viability as sony again makes a PvE game and just allows PvP on a server or 2 which is a mess) AND DB is a PvP guild, I think we are gonna go with WoW instead of EQ2.

Blizzard HAS announced it is balancing for PvP. Now the question is....can they jump into 1st person.....massively multiplayer...? WE WILL SEE!

WoW does look cool and Blizzard always delivers. We will have to wait and see what they do with the PVP.

Just read the following:

'That doesn't mean you can't share some encounters with your opponents. Blizzard hopes you will, specifically in the player-versus-player areas. 90 per cent of the world will remain non-PvP, but the rest will encourage you to clash with your opponents for the game's best cosmetic items, as well as experience points. "There will be only rewards, no disincentive to PvP," explained Adham. He continued with a joking illustration: "For example, in a non-PvP zone, you might be able to get an AC20 shield, but it has a care bear on the front. In a PvP zone, you can get an AC20 shield, but it's black." The PvP rules will follow the Horde vs. Alliance rules, with the good races facing those of a darker ilk. Adham took pains to point out that PvP would be consensual only, making up a small but interesting part of the world, although there would be full-PvP servers.'
