the motherboard my friend gave me has a 700 not an 800 chip =(

so i have 700 mhz,772 ram and a ati 7200 i thought was a 128 but the card sez 64 on it

anyways im going to install an o.s. and all that good stuff then buy planetside and see whathappens, if i cant play planetside on a 700 u may not see me for 3-6 more weeks , but i want to play that shit.

make sure to put all video settings on as low as possible with everything off. I ended up doin that with a 1.5 mhz with 64meg card

yeah i've got a 1.533ghz with ati 9700pro card and 512mb of ddr ram and i still sometimes get lag, mainly just in bigger battles though.

i have the game on my desk but i didnt trty to install since im 300 out of range from minimum, i seen a nice 2.8 gig athlon with mb + fan for like 280 online, + 55 for the box, not bad, i had bought a 80 gig hd for my new cp, i ddint know the cpu chip my homeboy gave me was a 700, but im still grateful for the upgrade of course!

buy it and trash everything cept mb and processor and the box, then throw the stuff in your old comp in this one and your all set
