I put up a new IRC chat client on the website:

Server: irc.stratics.com
Channel: #darkenbane

You will auto connect and join if you use the web client. Once connected you can change your nick with '/nick yournick' .
When the applet loads you need to grant the applet access or else it wont work (certificate/security issues).

Some colors need fixing but ill do that when i have some more time.

i thought IRC would be a good place for all of us to communicate outside (also, while playing games, too) of the games. IRC is a good way for us to get to know one another since a lot of us play different games than one another.

little info regarding the IRC channel #darkenbane (on irc.gamesnet.net)...

the IRC channel, i have owned since october. i have had bearchest and blackstar as co-owners ever since we have been gaming, again.

i suggest all dbers register a name through gamesnets version of "Nickserv" which is called Authserv. (details and instructions here http://www.gamesnet.net/authserv.php )

i will need each users "auth" name in order to add them to the chan access list (for voice, ops, etc., of the chan). to get added to the access list, send me a PM on the forums here or get a hold of me in irc.

i will be in IRC at all times when on the puter, i'd like to see most DBers do the same. it does not hog barely any resources while playing PS either!
