oh yea, i almost forgot...this sums up pretty much what i like too considering me and pat used to trade music all the time before he got his gay router:mad:

But I'm more into the Heavy metal, Death/Black/Speed Metal, Hardcore music. And as far as the symphony/orchestra stuff it has to be with a really good metal band (Ex: Dimmu Borgir)

I am the biggest Mushroomhead fanatic....

I even dress like them lol

Well I personally know JMann,Jeffrey Nothing,and Pig Benis due to the fact they lived on the next block over. Than I eventually met the rest through Jason {JMann} since I attended every 216, State of Conviction and Hatrix,and all the SMDC underground projects. {These are Mushroomhead side projects}

I enjoy the whole Cleveland underground metal scene...plus I love old punk,hardcore rap {DMX,Cypress Hill,Old NWA etc.}

If you love JMann's rapping in Mushroomhead you should check out his hip-hop project called "10,000 cadillacs",it's dope !! Also if you enjoy Jeffrey Nothing check out Hatrix {sounds like old school speed metal}

I was always a huge Sex Pistols fan,and always idoled Johnny Rotten.

Second is "Slipknot",and 3rd is "Deftones"...than from 4th and on is the big variety I enjoy.

But out of all the bands out there I just love Mushroomhead,and they are #1...

Their new CD comes out Oct.14,so all you die-hard shroom addicts I would recommend to go pick it up...

I already heard it lol It rocks !!!

Mushroomhead always put on the best show on Halloween night,and this year it's going to be the biggest one...

I have some music suggestions for people based on the bands you all said you liked! Me personally, I'm heavy into the whole Long Beach/Surfer Punk scene, bands like Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Long Beach Dub AllStars, No Motiv, Sprout etc.....

Sid, you like that Mushroomhead sound? Check out a band called Capitol Eye. They're a band from Long Beach too but w/ a more Punk/Rap sound. I think you'll really like IMan's melodic raps thrown over some of the more heavy punk tracks. Download a little something from them, my suggestion would be Let's Go or Valentine Style. You will most definately dig them.

Azriel, I'm also a big fan of old school punk and the Descendents are definately the kings. Check out some other old school punkers like The Vandals or Minor Threat. And if you get a chance check out Sublimes cover of the Descendent's Hope, its one of my favorite songs ever!

Keta, Maynard James Keenan is a genius, the new APC is ridicolous! Check out his new project Puscifer with Danny Lohner from Nine Inch Nails. That is just a bad ass combo of musical geniuses! Also check out Danny Lohners other project The Damning Well with Josh Freese from APC, Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit and Robert Patrick the singer from Filter. Both of Lohners new bands do songs for the soundtrack of that new movie Underworld.

I've also been getting into alot of Emo/PseudoPunk bands that I used to make fun of my little sister for listening to. Bands like Dashboard Confessionals, Alkaline Trio, Finch, Thrice, Story of the Year, The Early November and Brand New.
As a matter of fact I'm on a BIG Alkaline Trio kick right now, these guys got like 5 CDs and have never hit it big, which I don't understand cause EVERY song I listen to by them I LOVE. I can't help it, they all get stuck in my head. Anyone that reads this thread should download at least a couple songs by Alkaline Trio and give them a listen. My suggestions: Old School Reasons, Fatally Yours, Radio, Every Thug Needs a Lady, Crawl etc....
They are all good and you won't regret giving them a whirl~

Addition: This dosen't acurately sum up the music I listen to. I smoke pot EVERY day and like any other hardcors pothead I love Jam Bands!! Bands like Phish, Dave Matthews, Guster, Jump Little Children etc...
AND I STILL think the best band in the world is Pearl Jam =P

I do listen to other stuff but I totally dig Alternative. I listen to 80's metal. Ozzy is the shit. Reo Speedwagon, Styx, and Steve Miller rock. But, the songs that mean more to me than anything are:

Semisonic - Closing Time (it's mine and Tazze's first song)
GooGooDolls - Iris (mine and Tazze's love song)

These 2 songs mean the most to me and everytime I hear them they take me back. Makes me remember so many great things and reminds me why I love my Tazze soo much.
