Well to be honest I lean more towards the Horde but thats cause I love playing the bad guy. I dont want to join "Team EZ" though, so if 80% of the server we are on joins the horde I would pick alliance :P

As for Hama being in ToW or anyone being in any guild other then DB, it's not a concern. EQ on SZ is no longer supported by DB (and has not been for a while) thus players surely can and should be a part of organizations in those games and on those servers where DB is not.

Also, WoW is a whole new ballgame. My guess is we will have all the old school DB and new ones as well, but we will likely pick up some folks from other guilds as well that are not playign WoW (or just suck hehe).

When the beta application comes out, I will put a sticky up top requesting that those who wish to be a part of DB in WoW post their request. Then they will be given private board access given...well they are not gimps :)

Once we go retail, we will start with a pretty big crew. I am sure it will slim down over time and we will shave fat as we go. Not everyone will continue playing...not everyone will fit in....and there will likely be new folks we meet. It will be an evolving process :)

One thing I am truly hopeful for, tho, is old school and new alike will come together to give us the best start of any game ever for DB!

Tare the only diff with chialde and the new Eliz is chialde was a guy lol. I still keep in touch with Chialde through e-mail from time to time tho. He's plays Warcraft 3 and is doing some beta on doom3. He'll prolly be joining us on WoW as a mage he says... but we'll see. Darxus also has said hes going a caster of some type. So maybe we could get a quad corpse camp or portal party goinghere soon! I look forward To killing a few K of sheep soon no matter what alliance we pick.

From what I remember the original Chialde just played as a Female DE Wiz "Chialde" He ran around naked with a GBS and Jboots. He was a pretty funny guy nonetheless, and what's up Astoron, I may have never told ya this but you were my mentor when you started IC'ing Barbs. haha those days were assloads of fun.

Just think about something Gray! Do you think most of the new people will still like this guild when they are with us in a MMORPG? Do you think they can handle being hated and disliked by... well ... every other guild in the game? Just something to think about. I remember, after a few hours of thought,( was a long time ago) why Darxus and I joined Darkenbane. I can remember Being In CoA (lol can you believe I was in that guild) I knew nothing about the game/They gave me items =). In lava storm Darxus and I would group with people, pull a Drake or a snake and let the whole group fight until they were low and kill the whole group. Ya well that got us kicked out of CoA in a week hehe. Isn't darkenbane A guild of killers? A group, a family, a guild of the best. The most elite bad ass bad boyz in gaming! I just hope the new people to the guild dont try to change the thing I and im sure alot of other people in this guild love the most! We love to kill. If this changes then we are no longer Darkenbane, we are a shell of what we use to be. I refuse to become soft , weak and will never be a care bear! Tare wont, Darxus won't, pookart wont, Exodus wont, rykker wont, haanibal wont, 801 wont, Gray wont( no matter what race he picks), Nubi wont, skeletore wont, enlucent wont,wolfen wont, Innuendo wont, Meter wont!, Alec wont, Vallidus wont and the rest of the good ole school guild wont stop massive killing of the sheep. The new guildies must know what we are about. What we do here. We kill, take peoples gear, own zones, We are a virus of hate! People hated and loved us at the same time for how we stuck to what we did and changed for no one! It got our guild banned lol but atleast we stuck together to the end on Rallos Zek. I joined this guild cause you all( on rallos Zek) wanted to do the same thing I wanted to do! Get gear and above all have fun killing people! If that has changed then its a sad day for the guild. I can't tell you how much im looking forward to PK'ing with all my old crew again! I can't wait!!!!! It drives me nuts with anticipation thinking about it! so *cheers* to Darkenbane and what we do! You guys have been a great guild for me for many years and I hope for many years to come!

Astoron, did you play on SZ with DB? It prolly wont be *much* different then that I'd assume, Cept more organized it looks like. I'd have to say in a team based game its usually not a good idea to go and kill your 'team' for no reason, you already have another team thats going to kill you, dont need your own team to hate you also. Tho I could be wrong, I dont make these kinds of decisions for good reason ;).

I suspect PvP will be faction based. Meaning Team oriented. If this is the case, like SZ and PS we will work with our team.

If they make an FFA server, we will have to take into consider any restrictions they put on PvP. Sullon Zek was WAY better then RZ for PvP for the simple fact it had no level restrictions. If there is an FFA pvp server with a retarded 4 level restriction, we will likely not play on it.

Fact is, there were MORE people to fight on Sullon Zek then on RZ because of it's retarded level restriction. Also the FFA nature created an atmosphere of PvP being WRONG (thus PK tag). ON SZ, PKing was helping your team.

Again, it's all conjecture. Also we have to take into account the possibility of AE spells and FFA. AE skills ect. All of this will be considered AFTER the beta when they actually annouce what servers will have what.

One thing is certain, tho, we WILL play on a PvP server. Wee just need to find the one that will be the funnest for us.

In general i loved the image DB had in RZ, even not being in the guild during then, I wanted to just had to break off from my friends who were mostly anti. SZ pvp with DB was great, organized attacks held back the evils more then we could of if we had the same pvp mentality of RZ. I loved the fighting on sz cause we still created the fear that goes along with the DB name, but i still wish i was there for the fun on RZ :-P

was thinking the same thing recently. DB is MUCH different then your average guild, or average PvP guild for that matter. Good point to bring up to the new people who will join us in WoW, cause hell I wouldnt be surprised if we become just as hated and feared in WoW as DB was in eq.

DB in SB are PKs (rogue guild). In PS on the private board i made an extensive post about our history and future.

Most importantly, tho. are the players....THEY know what we are and when WoW comes these players and this community will make us what we are...hard core gamers...and hard core PvPers whther others in WoW thinks of PvP as BAD (like on RZ) or not.

Also, I will have a very clear Charter before WoW goes live which will help guide us and keep us on course. From UO, to RZ to SZ to PS....I have learned alot and hopefully will be able to shape WoW as DBs most organized effort to date :)

The first step, however, will be to get as many of us into the beta to learnt he game as possible so we not only help to fix the bugs and such, but also learn it so we can jump out ahead of the sheep when it goes retail. This will allow us to shape our chosen server how WE want it...just like we pretty much set the tone for SZ.

Anyway, alot of PvP guilds are looking at WoW cause as we learned even tho a game is pure PvP, if they got no clue how to make the game like SB, it still sucks... If ya don't like some of ur members, boot em and take on PvP/PKing allies to support your life style, there should be plenty in WoW, while still having tons of peeps to kill.
