You gotta see the results. With THAT many people speaking out, how can they ignore it? There MUST be a server for us...I just cannot imagine them NOT doin' it.

Factional PvP servers in WoW will be crowded as hell if they do it right...which i suspect they are capable of doin'! And i think with results like this, they have to seriously consider it.

Yeah I don't care what team we are on only that it's not Team EZ.

I'm thinking of playing a utility class this time to help the guild, usually I go for a selfish class that alows me to kill many people ;)

If they dont give us a pvp server Blizzard will be out a lot of cash. I seems most of the hardcore fans of Warcraft want to see massive factional pvp. I dont see how they could ignore the fans. Thats a hell of a lot of YES

Not really. All mmorpg's would make more money if they opened up a new BLUE server instead of a RED/pvp server. This is unfortunate for us but you do have to realize that pvpers are and always will be in the minority. Survival of the fittest ensures a game that is more indepth but it also assures that many will quit due to being griefed. I expect this game to make money regardless of if it includes pvp or not.

true saradin, but some people might not wanna play the game because it hasnt gotten pvp at all. and arena fights are gay imo(unless they make it like this, once u zoneinside u cannot zoneout side before your dead. Not like in eq, when your low u just runout to heal)

Well someone brought up a pretty awesome idea for PvP to me that might be cool. I think it mighta been Mindgames, but not sure. Anyhow, he said it was discussed on the boards before, but went something like this:

Guild PvP server. As a newb everyone is automatically in a newb guild run by the server. They are not PvP enabled unless they travel outside of their newb area and then they can be slaughtered at will. At a pre determined level, people are automatically kicked out of the newb guild and either must go rogue (no guild) or join a guild. ANYONE can attack ANYONE on this server UNLESS you are in the same guild.

This idea, combined with faction v faction grouping and communication rules (no grouping out of faction) might be interesting.

I am sure they will come up with something tho. The only trouble with a guild PvP server is guilds MUST make alliances with other guilds or face 95% of the server against you (sorta like us on RZ ;p). I think this time, if we were on such a server, we might start off doin' our own thing and see who is who...and then perhaps score some alliances....but that is just way to much conjecture :P

Hey, I'm new here, but I'm glad to see a large amount of people rooting for a faction vs. faction server. Granted when WoW comes out I'll still play no matter what, a faction vs. faction server would definitely add a lot more fun and depth. It seems to me that a lot of the existing warcraft fans are people who like to fight human opponents, so hopefully there are enough of us for Blizzard to accommodate us.

Well, the thing is (IMHO), the ghame itself will be fun...but whats the point of spending so much time developing your character if u can't use him/her to smoke some other guy? :)

I agree. I'm currently playing SWG and a spent a fair amount of time gaining skills so i could compete in pvp. Now that i'm there it isn't that great. I can only kill those who feel like letting me, which sucks.
