Found this on gamespy posted by Shane Dabiri, its not on the blizzard site but gives encouragement that there might be dedicated pvp servers.
So just when we're about to wrap up the demo, the same annoying question reared its ugly head again -- "What about player killers?" "What about player killers?" "What about cheaters?" Alright children, you can stop your whining. Thankfully, Mr. Dabiri had an answer for everything. So to address player killers -- "This is Warcraft," explains Dabiri, "there is always going to be conflict. Whether it's between this race and that race, him versus her, this is war. Some servers will only be PvP while others will have certain "areas" that will be PvP. This is combat folks so be prepared when you start to play. If you don't want to play on a PvP server, then don't play on it. They'll be plenty of other servers where you can play without it."
