If the rumor is true that they will wipe the server once a month and declare a winner, it means leveling beyond like level 12 is pointless. Level up to 12 and kill as many folks within 5 levels (7 to 17) to get the most points.
The way to do this best, tho, is to have someone level a druid to 50 and follow our level 12's around. He can buff and heal our guys...and also snare any enemies or kill their pets. We all should invest in this 50th druid, because when he/she is 50, our guys will be unbeatable.
Benfits of having a level druid:
1. Kills everyone to high for our guys to kill.
2. Buffs our guys makes it easy for them to level 12 if they do die.
3. Kills enemy pets easily.
4. Snares/root enemies.
Another option is an enchanter.
Bottom line is it's likely a level 12 or lower level will win this contest because anyone level 50 won;t find that many enemies within 5 levels to kill. As such this character won;t have much of a chance at winning, but will be an enormous help tot he guild.
