A sad day on Discord

It was teh suk today... DB squad 1 was lvling in Unrest, me (ewwok), Nemesis, Qwirty, Moldy, Immolater, and Wikybus, all dinging like mad getting to teh uber lvl 20 to win EQ... but just as we were enjoying teh uber exp we did 1 mistake... got cocky... two people went down... Qwirty and Immolater... no more breeze for us... On discord we gotta play it smart and stick together.... I think this server will truely test DB's team work for pvp, and who knows maybe even make us better team pvper's and prepare us better for WoW... but for now DB are still at the high end and control Faydwer... and eventually all of norrath, and i will be crowned the king and win EQ! i will win damit! GNOMERCY!

U think that is bad...I got back up to level 17....and i was so sleepy and just wanted to get off....but was helpin out a few people....not paying attn being stupid...was giving cash to a DBer who was fighitng a defective Clockwork.....i accidentally targeted the wrong thing...boom dead again :(

Just a mental lapse. Real dumb. Bang start over. Worse yet...i was so tired i could not wait for the damn server to reset me (it was broken last night and crashed me) so i lost 30 plat and the gear /spells i had on him. Really dumb and frustrating :(

In any case, gonna try again...but man is it demoralizing to do something stupid like that and start over. gay gay gay. Such a mental thing too. Anyhow, I will be lookin' to make a level 1 group sometime tonight ;p

Hey Gray I'm with ya. Died from 16 because I got cocky and was killing so many people in Gfay that my faction got shot to pieces. When I ran by my own freaking guards I died. I promised I'd get 8 that night and I did....but then I logged on in the morning to get an unrest group and got uber pkayed. So I'm back to level 2. We need to come up with a fast way to get to 12 or 16.

Right now I feel like there is a balance. We're leveling fast, but we're dying fast too which keeps us in check. We gotta learn how to reduce the risk of the high lvls dying, and increase the leveling speeds. Perhaps some more organized PLing will need to come into play. Just an idea. PLing is safe for everyone, and once more people are higher levels, exping will become safer too.

Please put more input on these opinions if you want.

yea the highest ive been was like 13 cause unfortunately im always stoned and stupid little mistakes like that happen when you are stoned, i swear i can make an anti pot commercial for eq with the deaths ive had so far ;) i do have 3 pk points tho hehe go bard pk.

This isn't a suggestion for safety, but this is something I was thinking about on the way home from wallyball today.

When we're in a full group, we will get 0 pk points. When we're out on the prowl, why use a group? We can't make a guild, we don't need a group in the sense of communication, instead of making a group, we can make a group channel, change our notification hotkeys to /1 instead of /g and that way whoever gets the kill, gets the points.

Just an idea.

Money really isn't an issue on this server. Every noobie out there has around 10 plat worth of gear and items on them at all time haha. Money shouldn't really be a problem. I actually think PK points get divided among the number of group members, rounding down. I remember when I was goruped with Helo i think, he killed someone and I got 1 point from across the zone. Having pk partners sounds like an AWESOME idea. Get matched up with your uber soul mate and go to town. Let me know what you all think

yeah well i died at level 19 because i broke my rule of pvping alone that ive had throughout my time on eq.

OUR group myself, lev 19 beatslord with sowed pet, lev 20 mage wityh sowed pet, lev 14 shaman.

THEIR group, lev 16 mage, lev 16 chanter lev 15 druid.

my instructions, kill mage first so we can remain mobile, stick together dont get sepearated, move as a unit.

i also wanted to go grab our 19 and 20 spells but "no d00d we can killz them np np, we arent n00bs roofles!"

the way the battle pans out: the beastlord (zharr aka lethdar) goes running off about 7 screens in front of us, runs headlong into them and dies, we get there just as his hp bar is at 10%, the mage (ghettin) sends pet on druid, and runs away, we are left with me using my lev 14 37 dmg dd and 90 dmg dot against 3 people with an earthpet that roots every time given that nobody has any resistances.

pyratt is there trying the best he can with blinds and heals but cant do much since he has lev 9 spells still, figures the only 2 who fought it out were DB, i was so so pissed last night because i like almost never died in pvp on the zeks, and when i did was usuall to people soing suoid shit like this incident, i am going to try to get back up to par and pvp alone like before, or with my old crew (saradin, once etc)

Yeah, I spent 4 hours yesterday getting to 12 only to be trained near akanon by like 4 skeletins that kept stunning and interrupting my color stun. =( Now im starting over. Ill be on later tonight, prob in 6 hours or so (cant you tell i hate work).
