I will have to agree with Axxy, call me an ass kisser, but I have been playing online games with Grunter long before any of you. Grunter has always given me anything I needed, whether it was in real life or in the online gaming world, Gray has always been there for me, even after the one bad time we had, which I doubt will ever happen again :P
For some of you that don't know where DB started let me give you a brief summary. Darkenbane was first part of a guild called Crusaders of the Realm, Darkenbane was a subdivision of the guild, they were the killers of the guild. Gray was the leader/creator of DB in COR. COR and DB were in a game called neverwinter nights that was an online game on AOL, I was much too young to play computer games at this time so I cannot give you much information about this game.
After NWN, DB and COR were created in Ultima Online about 5 or 6 years ago. DB and COR were a goody guild until DB and COR split, thats when DB went PK in UO. We had a lot of huge wars with Covetous Crew in UO and was definately a fun game. Grayrage, Larson, Majestic (me), and Char all real life buds totally owned the dungeons of UO. It was a great game, but EQ was just far more complex and didn't have lag like UO.
As we moved to Rallos Zek from UO, Gray started Darkenbane in EQ, the one and only remaining DBer that helped start the guild with Gray is Enlucent. DB was first a goody guild and just participated in race wars in the early days of EQ. After talking with Gray on the phone one day, we thought it would be a neat idea to kill the people at the treants in SK and take all the platinum they inherited. This was the turning point in EQ for DB when we became a "pk guild". After slaughtering the hunters of the treants and spending many hours killing people in South Karana, Gray met up with a wizard named Ever. Ever had a guild called Lords of Malevolence (a pk guild) and Gray and Ever merged guilds to make the most powerful pk guild in EQ. This is when Darkenbane became Darkenbane The Lords of Malevolence. So for those of you who say Ever created DB your wrong, he was just a guildstatus leader at one point, but never the true leader. From this point on DB became the most known guild on Rallos Zek. As for the rest of EQ history, you all know it already so Im not going to explain anymore.
