Some one tell me why....

Some one tell me why I have this fucking mouse pointer in the middle of my screen while running EQ at all times. Basically I have my EQ mouse pointer and this big fucking white pointer that just sits in the middle of my screen that doesn't move or go away. I set all the settings to the highest and also turned off all the settings such as character models, dynamic lighting, sound, all that shit and it won't go away.

Make sure u have your latest driver and stop running hack programs underneath EQ =p

Another thing you might want to try is changing your resolution after getting inside EQ. For example, make sure you start off at 640x480, then switch to 800x600 (or whatever) while you are already in.

Is just an overlap of your windows mouse pointer, so yeah, it has to do with your display drivers.

Try the reso change, and let me know what happens.

If the mouse still shows up, you need to get some new drivers.

And if you are having any other real trouble, try posting you Dxdiag.exe info file.

Could be that EQGame.exe is making another program end and/or error when it loads. This is caused while EQGame.exe flickers resoloutions when 1st loaded. I've seen it before ;p

That shit happened too me on both of my comps

one of my comps i was running full screen and windows update crap pop'd in the background. I didnt discover this til i had logged for the night.

other time it happened when i was running EQW and i just ctrl - alt - r and redid it and that fixed the problem.
