Hey everyone. I play on VS as Zirconium if any of you are familiar with me. A couple of my friends have been trying to get me to play NC with them, and I think they've finally convinced me. Have heard a lot of possitive things about you fellas as an outfit, and was interest in squading with you all and seeing how I fit in. I play extreme regularly, although I did take a 4 month break a while back. Should be playing until EQ2 comes out through, so....anyways....looking forward to hearing back from you all.

I'm AgentEyepatch, the leader of Darkenbane in Planetside. Just letting you know that I've read your post, but currently too busy at the moment to fully respond.

I've already looked up your VS character and spoke briefly with Ultraist about you, but give me an hour or two and I'll let you know what's up.

Okay, Zirconium, glad you are interested in us. If you've roamed the site at all, you would know that Darkenbane is an elite online gaming community focused on being dominant in PvP in any game they're involved with. In other words, Planetside is not our only game we play. When you join DB, you join a community.

As I mentioned, I spoke to Ultraist about you since you were previously in an outfit with him - he told me your playstyle was quite like ours, which is definitely good to hear. Even though we don't base our decisions upon players stats, your stats are fairly impressive and show that you've had quite a bit of experience playing PS.

The questions above do help determine the acceptance of you in the outfit, but they are only minimal factors. The most determining factor in you joining us will have to do with you spending a good amount of time with us in squads where we'll see if your attitude, teamwork and playstyle fit in with ours.

Sorry I didn't check the post last night. Anyways, let me give you some insight into me.

1) RL Age: 18

2) RL Gender: Male

3) Prior gaming experiences - list all games, names, servers, levels: Everquest---4 level 65 characters (Inyien, Cleric, 65; Nagguk, Warrior, 65; Xakzhan, Monk, 65; Uggluk, Shaman, 65. Inyien and Nagguk were on Fennin Ro and Xakzhan and Uggluk were on Luclin.) I played for approximately 3.5 years.

DAOC---Played on Guinivere(sp?) (Dalania, 50 Savage; Nagguk, 50 Skald)

Planetside---Been playing since release. BR 20 CR 5 on Zirconium. I play other characters occasionally but thats about it here.

FFXI---I played for about 4 months (Release to New Years) and came back to Planetside. I had a 59 bard on Fairy named Andrinor.

Emerald on Fairy----a bunch of guys from Planetside in fact---hooked up with Chizow, animagic, and quite a few other guys.

May 17 to October 28, January 1 to present. However long that is.

No problems

Far to many. I get on about 2:30 EST and depending on whats going on stay on till 11-2 on the weekdays. On the weekends all day for the exception of when I'm skiing.

All the time

Still in HS, headed to MIT next year. I will have a job shortly, so that will alter my play time slightly. My father was diagnosed with cancer 4 years ago and hes still fighting it, so from time to time, I'm bound to family matters.

Eh, not much. I've tried to learn HTML on the side and I get around to it occasionally, but thats about it.

11) Geographic Location - Where do you live?
East Coast in the small state of Delaware. Represent!

12) Who in DB do you know? What experiences have you had with DB? How did you here about us?
Ultraist. Actually, have had no experiences with you other than fighting against you all. Seem organized, and thats basically been the turn on. Ultraist has filled in the gaps and I'd be happy to see what you all are about.

13) Is there anyone you currently know in DB who can sponsor you?

14) What are your main focuses in Planetside? Describe what you do in 2 hours of play (Do you zerg? Defense? Spec ops?):
Spec ops, tactical grunting. The zerg is alright, but to tell you the truth I don't like the fact that you can't shine through skill as much as you can in smaller battles. I like to pwn!

15) Why an interest Darkenbane?
I sort of mentioned that above, but mainly I've been looking for another empire for awhile, and Ultraist has been coaxing me to come to the NC. Beyond that, this game is centered around a group atmosphere, and becoming part of an outfit is a key part of that. That said, why not join the best?

Send me a private message on this forum or e-mail me with your name that you're going to use for your NC character. The name of your NC character will be your username for TeamSpeak, but you will have to notify me of a password you desire to go with that username, which you can attach in the PM/e-mail you send to me. We'll have you squad with us for a while and see how things work out.
