That’s right kiddies, some of us have found our way to previously gay, currently ass kicking EqEmu Guildwars. Darkenbane is not there as a guild, a few of our people are there having fun . So, if you are bored (AND I KNOW YOU ARE), come have some fun with us. The account is free, the game is fun, and we are kicking ass.

Check out the pub EQ board (if you’re ”teh suk”), or check out our private board (if you’re ”teh win”) to see what’s going on.

And if you’re thinking: ”Why Stoffer, as much as I think that you’re hot, and value your opinion higher than anyone else’s, Guildwars was pretty gay last time I checked”, all I can say is that, yes, I am indeed hot, and LOTS has changed in Guildwars.

There is no longer GM corruption, very few bugs, good fighting and a working concept. I never thought I’d say this (I never thought I’d post something nice on the news page, but here goes): Devn00b and Image are doing an awesome job right now.

That’s right, I said something nice. Quite amazing considering: 1. Again, I don’t say nice stuff about people here very often. 2. If you had asked me about Dev and Image one month ago, I would have said ”teh fag” instead of ”awesome job”. They turned it around and I would actually rather pay them 10 dollars a month than SOE (because we all know SOE sacrifice babies as a part of their deal with Satan).

So, stop by. it’s free. it’s fun and hey, it brings back memories.

PS. If you got banned from EQ for using obscene language (As I of course did, it’s the only real way of quitting EQ), you can rest assured that use of for example these words: fag, butt pirate, ass monkey, retagimp (word I just made up, consisting of retard and gimp) won’t get you banned. That’s right, no language Nazi rules!.

Actually I'm pretty sure it was "teh win" when you first started it back then, just like Lineage II was "teh win" when you first started it also :p

Word of caution, the latest EQ live patch (4/14/04) will not allow you to play on guildwars.

New Activation Process!!!!
Posted by: Edgar1898 :: 13 Replies :: 577 Views :: View Thread

Starting immediately, there will be a new registration process. Due to the problems and the insecure nature of phpbb passwords, we will need to separate the forum accounts with login server accounts. Old accounts will continue to work the way they always have, with the exception of using the everquest client to change your login account's password. Accounts on the login server will be associated with forum accounts in a limited form, but we recommend you use a different password on your login server account than your forum account. The registration system works like this:

1. If you dont have a forum account, you must register one. After you register a forum account, you will still need to register a login server account because we arent going to be using the forum usernames/passwords anymore.

2. Login to your forum account and click the profile link from the top forum menu. On the profile page, under your username you will find a unique key. That key will be needed to activate a new login server account.

3. Change your eqhost.txt file to the following:

[Registration Servers]
{
"register.eqemulator.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
"eqlogin2.eqemulator.net:5997"
"eqlogin3.eqemulator.net:5997"
}

4. Using the everquest client, click Account, New. The only information we need you to fill in is your email address (it must match your forum accounts email address), your cdkey (Login Server Activation Key located in step 2), your station name (new account name you want), password, and your user handle for chat purposes. Although this is the only information we use, the eq client makes you fill in some of the fields.

5. After your account is created, you will be able to login and play everquest as normal. You can only have 3 login server accounts associated with your forum account. If you want more than that, you will need to register another forum account.

Although every step was taken to prevent people from losing accounts, if you cant login please email me at LethalEncounter@EQEMulator.net with your forum username and the error you are receiving.

Again, current accounts will work as normal (they were moved over to the new system), this is only for new login server accounts; However it is HIGHLY encouraged that you change your login server password and keep it different than your forum account password. Phpbb is full of exploits, so please change your login server password.

Lineage 2 was most certainly "teh win" to begin with, as most games you play for more than 1 week are, which other foundation would you have to explore a game?.

never tried the original , but just tried this one now.

Kinda boring IMO , maybe just because im low level with no gear. AM I doing something wrong? Or is it just straight boring levling with no pvp till 50? And how do I manage to get gear?

no pvp till 50, at 50 you can get your gear.

If I hit my goal I will have level 50 in under a day of actual playtime.

do you think you can post a guide to leveling on that server? im completely lost since most of the zones ive been to so far dont have enough spawns and is slow leveling.

and do you get more exp on this server or is it the same as leveling a char from 1-50 on a real eq server?

Most games are, I will agree with that. However, when I visited the Lineage II website I did some exploring and found the pvp system section. They briefly give a thorough explanation of the pvp. From reading this I could tell that the pvp wouldn't be all that great...

Dunno, some of the reads gave a pretty nice picture of it, and I also like to try stuff myself.
