Is there a release date set yet for EQ2? I have been hearing bad things about it and PvP so far. Like I think I saw somewhere that they are gunna make it purely PvE THEN after they think they got that down, they will look at PvP. You guys still think they will have a PvP server upon start? I sure as hell hope so!

Anyways I am gunna try to hit the boards more til it comes out. I havent been around for a long time cuz I have been working out and doing alot of stuff in preparation for my military service. I will be in EQ2 still with yall though for sure... If it comes out before I go heh.

WoW is going to destroy EQ2....which will make me very happy. For one EQ is gay, and two SOE really pissed me off by screwing up PS when it had so much potential so I want to see them lose lots and lots of money..

I know the feeling bearchest. I actually liked playing PS while I was playin it with you guys. EQ however, is totally different. I have quit and come back to it so many times. Now it is blaitantly obvious that all they care about is rushing expansion after expansion to the shelves so that they can get rich quick while having a huge portion of the current game being half assed. It not only dilutes alot of the lowbie PKing grounds but also just makes a much larger separation in levels from the treadmill zombies and the casual PKin type folks. It's not going in a very good direction and it is sad that EQ is the best there is hands down at the moment. I just think EQ2 will bring back the newbie in me for at least a little while before I ship out. That is worth the money to me.

There will be no PVP server from the start, pretty sure i read that in PCG, either that or on their website, Regardfless, as of now they have no plan for a PVP server from the start. And whereas blizzard had 200,000 beta aplications, eq2 had some 450,000 beta aps, so either they were all more dedicated and spamming beta accounts, or there are a lot more going to play it, and i think its the second

About the PVP thing, I am planning on going cleric in EQ2 so if we have to start out on blue server its not that bad as long as PVP is implimented fast. If not then we could just go to WoW hehe =).

That day COH ganking in the arena was one of the funniest things ever! I still laugh when I think about it. They made so many changed to the bazaar now lol. I still play on RZ you know. Kabilly 65 cleric and Jeyjey 52 ranger. I pretty much never play bradic anymore =/.

I dont PK with Jeyjey. He has sucky gear and I am working on gettin him levels with my rl buddies. We have alot of fun with that. If anything changes Ill let you know though lol, I just got him epics and im getting him ornate stuff as we speak =).

Calrenkarn, Motherless gnolls was a guild we made up for our lowbie PKs mainly lol. That was long ago they wiped us last guild wipe 8(. It was just about 5 or 6 RL friends, we always did LAN party PKing when there where millions of newbies in NEK/EC/WC/LS. OMG that was so damn fun. Now we dont really PK on any of our chars because there are no low levels and the high level game has enough PKs to PvP against that its still fun plus we dont get owned by ubers in the high lvl zones we go into.

Back when I was Bradic though, I was in Wild Hunt from like level 30ish all the way up til Tempered Fury. I was an officer and I still love all those guys from Wild Hunt/ Tempered Fury and Forces of the Grimm! All great guys. We even tried to bring back TF in Lineage II but the game was just no good sadly. Oh well. I was glad to have joined DB though back in the day. It was so fun always having to watch your back in any zone and run from the zerg of antis that always seemed to hunt ya down, good times.

Hey man ya Im still here :) Dont post as much as I dont have as much free time these days. But you should be planning on playing Wow, thats where its gonna be at I think. Eq2 doesnt seem like its going to have much more thought pvpwise then Eq1 did. Hell sounds as if they wont even have a pvp server to start with.

Wow will. Plus the graphics are sick, tho not that Eq2 wont be. Hell they say that there is not a mchine on the market today with the system Reqs to play Eq2 with full Graphics :P

Screw that Id have to buy a new machine to probably play with just the minimum graphics :P

Tho there are Priests in Wow and it sounds as if theyre pretty badass so that may be where I go (depending if theyre available to our side) Unless of course they get their heads beaten in with the nurfbat

I still need to look into wow but I would be a meat shield this time around if I played it. I just havent taken the time to really look into the game in depth, either of them actually. I know I will play both though hehe. Especially if I get to play with you again!

Oh and BTW Calren I didnt take it as a flame at all, I am very proud of what I did in Wild Hunt and TF =).
