Well i kinda had this problem long ago but desided not to format back then anyways, but the time has come again for me to format, because my system is running slow and i have tons of annoying files all over. So i kinda wanna format.

Now the problem is that my bios cannot find my harddrive, so i can't format.

Now 6 month's back i Flashed my bios, didnt go according to the plan, so my bios got kinda fucked.

Now if anyone have any idea on how this problem can be fixed please help because i wan't this over with already.

My Motherboard is a MSI - 865PE Neo2 pentuim 4 prosessor.( that's what it said when i opened the case)

I dunno if u need more info to help me out, but if you do tell me and ill try to figure it out

thx

flashed means updated, arnald. Its somewhat dangerous as any screwup during the process can leave you with a fried mobo.

As to the original problem, I've never personally had that happen without it being due to a dead or damaged HD, but that is clearly not the problem here;p If you havent already, MSI has an extensive online support library that probably would be useful to take a look at.

Yep, looked at that online support, but didnt find any awnsers to my problem, maybe i have to look alittle harder =D

Well i had a look at some new bios versions, but dunno what to take, they all fix something special. So what do i pick?

sorry if this isnt helpful/useful, but the results from the link are for a buncha different motherboards. The most recent version for your specific motherboard will include all fixes from earlier versions too. If you can narrow your Mobo down to one model and then just re-flash your bios with the most recent version maybe your problem will go away =/

regardless that should be a first step, once thats done try emailing their tech support
