Anyone beat the game without dying? So far im in alpha labs #3 w/ 0 deaths (marine). I dont think its possible on vetern, died from the first shotgun guy in the first lvl :P but someone might be uber enough to do so.

I did not die, but i was playing in god mode so i am not sure if that counts.

98% you are going to die for sure in veteran mode more than once against the monsters, and 99% sure you will die by the minbosses

How can you ask what God Mode is? Doom created God Mode, oh wait that was R.O.T.T., god I miss that game. Good old MSDOS....:(

There are only 2 things im hating about doom 3 atm and thats the fact that they are relying to heavily on the closed space to create the mood of the game and that it doesn't have that fun shooter quality (as just running around shooting things, it overstresses the tension far to often). This probably changes some on later levels but ive noticed these still need to be changed a bit.

its not supposed to have that mood, its supposed to have that "Aw shit, i gotta go change my diaper again dammit" feel. If you want an all out shooting game i suggest quake 2 or Serious Sam

lol, serious sam :P now i dont know who would ever suggest a game that shitty. Quake is alright but what i mean is that it doesnt have the same funitude as the previous dooms. I just got to comm transfer and things are looking up more and more, dam lost souls do so much freaking damage :P. Not saying the game is bad, its has unmatched intensity to induce fear and its easily better for mood/setting than even the silent hill series. Probably just havent gotten far enough in the game.

Those bastards dont show up til you first get to hell. Well, right before you go into the portal to hell anyway. They take a shit load of damage too by the way.

Oh and if I could give any advice, it would be to not save up the BFG ammo so much. If you hoard it too much you will regret it I promise hehe.

Well I got to hell without ever find a BFG, then you lose all your fucking guns.....I haven't beat it yet because of the stupid fucking flying heads that keep pushing me off the floating stones. I always die to them twice and alt-F4 heh.

Where the hell do you find Pierce Rogers' PDA? Its the last one your supposed to find, im about to beat the god damn game and I cant find it anywhere to get through these doors. This game really pisses me off...

In delta labs #3 atm.. strange though everything has gotten far far easier once you hit delta labs. Im going on holidays though so i will be unable to assist ya for some time :(
