Yes it might be true kids,my friends told me they heard Nicholas Cage was interested in taking the part of playing Benjamin Franklin lol Whats next Will Smith playing Jim from Tom Sawyer ??? !!! Damn Hollywood is sure running out of ideas for movies lol The movie is also suppose to be called "Franklin" lol The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin !

I can just picture Nicholas cage with his balding hair on top with a mullet in the back, and wired glasses flying a kite with a key on the string lol

I also heard he was offered the roll of Superman lol pleasseeeeeee !!!

Well ever since I saw Wind Talkers he's had my vote for Quakeman. Anyone willing to give Nicholas Cage a part in thier movie is just asking for a failure.

Negative Cage is an outstanding actor. All good actors do some bad movies.

We're also leaving out the film he won an OSCAR for (Leaving Las Vegas) - usually you have to be a pretty good actor to win one of those. Denzel Washington, Jack Nicholas, Tom Hanks, Dustin Hoffman, Russel Crowe, Ed Norton, Anthony Hopkins, Robert De Niro, and Robin Williams are pretty good company.

Admirable effort to a very weird movie - Adaptation.

I would have agreed with you all on those points up until I saw Wind Talkers.... I am sorry but there is no excuse for that wide screen blasphemy! I did however like a few of his films before the above mentioned. All the ones you all mentioned where pretty cool cept con air and 9mm. Oh and don't forget face off! LOL that was a horrible movie :( .

Did Windtalkers suck? I have wanted to rent it for a long time but for some reason I never do...

btw Con-Air wasn't that bad..

Con Air was sweet - one of those totally unrealistic movies where you have zero to think about and can just let your eyes explode from one unreal action stunt to the next. John Malkovic is bad ass and he pretty much made that movie - that and Dave Chappelle.

Go ahead Bri and rent Windtalkers - don't let these feeble minds screw you out of another meaningless and totally mindless movie experience.
