Windows service pack 2

Did anybody else download this thing? I installed it, the security center thing was fucking annoying.. and I cant figure out how to turn it off. I have my Anti virus turned off and it keeps saying U MAY BE EXPOSED TO DANGEROUIS TINGS PLEASE TURN VIRUS PROTECTION ON over and over.

Then I run Planetside, and the game stutters like a bitch with SP2. It takes 10 years it seems to shift+alt+f4 to exit the game, so I just said fuck it and restored my computer to an eariler time. I dont visit warez sites, ever, or pr0n sites that give you nasty shit, so I dont care.

So my question is did anybody else install SP2, and have been having performance issues? or is it just me?

I have a strict if it aint broke dont fix (upgrade) it policy on my software after a few shitty experiances, more than likely they are trying to make money in the process of giving u a "free" service by SOME means

MS dont release security patches for fun ;)

To turn off notifications

Go to control panel-> Security Center ->

On the left hand pane select "Change the way security center alerts me"

Uncheck all three boxes.
