Okay guys, this is how you get op'ed (@) in IRC, step by step.
1) Register a handle with authserv (it registers this handle to you, but NOT the nickname). Gamesnet doesn't register specified nicks to anyone. The command to register with authserv is: /AuthServ REGISTER <user> <password> <email@address>
2) After you register with authserv, you must authorize so that authserv will recognize you. The command for this is: /AuthServ AUTH <user> <password>.
3) Get Sieges to add you as an op (@) or peon (+).
4) To make CERTAIN that you are op'ed when you enter the channel do the following steps.
(a)Click Tools
(b)Click Options
(c)Click the + beside Connect in the new box that pops up
(d)Click Options in the list
(e)Click perform
(f)In the box that pops up click the box next to "Enable perform on Connect" so that it is checked
(g)Enter the following text: /j #darkenbane (hit enter) /authserv auth<user><password>
Now, evertime you boot up mIRC you will automatically be put in #darkenbane and be op'ed or peon'ed (if you are on the users list)
