anyone give me advice for my comp plze

In Eq i have this problem here lately when i try and loot my corpse iget severe lag and it mkes it almost impossible to loot, also when i first log into Eq no atter what zone i am in i get severe lag that wont go away unless i zone. Some zones alo mak me very laggy and unable to do anything as simple as cast a spell like Neriak commons, fear, Runnyeye and a few other zones.
I am rnning on a Celeron 366 with 128 RAm with a dial up modem, thinking if i bouht more ram i would get over this problem but not sure.

Ram only helps to a certain extent. You really need a new comp. EQ still has some virtual lag on my 1500 mhz comp, nothing compared to my 450 mhz, but with SoL out, the graphics are hard on your pc.

Wold it be possible to take my celeron 366 chip out and plug in the same comp a celeron450 or so MHZ? dont have lotsa cash right now got laid off so i am reaching here~

You could get a new chip but you have to find out the maximum amount of mhz your motherboard can hold. If you did get a 450 with a few fans you could overclock it to like 700 mhz, but that's risky.

A new computer wouldn't cost you a whole lot. If you've got a sound card and video card you can take out of your old box and put in your new one that would save you some money. Like I've told everyone else that asks about computers, I got a brand new one (minus operating system) for about 600 dollars. It's a pretty nice system although I could use more ram (only got 256.) Go to www.mwave.com and check out their barebone systems. It's what I did.
